1 Yes

2 No, but my grandma had diabetes and my aunt has it, too. Both never tested for celiac, but my grandma had most of the celiac symptoms.

3 Female

Good luck, Stef

Celiac: I guess so. My bloodwork was "questionable", my biopsy was negative, my gene bloodwork was "questionable", but the expert my GI sent all of my tests to says I "probably" have it.

Diabetes: Glucose test two days ago. Waiting for the results. Will let you know.

Sex: Female

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also had my children tested, ages 2 1/2 (male) and 16 mos (female) for celiac. I suspect my son is celiac. My daughter shows no symptoms, but that doesn't mean anything. I will let you know once I get the results. (If I forget, send me an e-mail)
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU, AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU COME UP WITH. :)
      Thank you! This is helpful and validating, which is nice.  I am so tired of gastrointestinal issues and feeling poorly. Obviously my immune system is freaking out and seeing gluten as a foreign invader… and I feel like I’m just trying to doctor myself all the time but I did wonder if it was all indicative of pre celiac or something like that.  I haven’t gotten straightened out mentally or physically since the 8 week gluten challenge. My stomach is a mess and I’m over it
      Hi! Thank you, this is the most validating information I have had shared with me. I wondered if all this was indicative of pre-celiac or just celiac that hasn’t caused damage. It’s been a long road with all this and I am burnt out on dealing with it all. And I am beyond tired of gastrointestinal issues and feeling poorly. I have had major improvements on a gluten free diet in the past and the antibodies decrease as well. Around the area where I live they don’t diagnose celiac without a positive biopsy. I asked my doc why I would have antibodies if it’s not celiac and he didn’t really have an Answer for that, which was frustrating. They only test for 2 genes, the most common I think. Aren’t there more than just 2?
      Thank you for your replies. I requested my endoscopy results from May 2024 to see if this was the same. In that report, it states everything is normal. So my thinking is no celiacs. My GP recently told me he thinks I have IBS. Is it a concern that I had the lymphocytosis 5 years ago and then nothing last year? I am concerned my doctors don't make any of this clear, making us all resort to seeking the assistance of a great community such as this. Thanks again
      Yes, I only use it when I'm eating outside my home, at restaurants, when traveling, when at a friend's house for meal, etc.
      Xanthan gum is added into the the flour mix--1 teaspoon per 2 cups for binding, but some people avoid it because it can cause gastro issues--if you're avoiding it, try 1 tbsp ground flax or chia seeds soaked in 3 tbsp water per cup of flour as a substitute (works well in no-bake recipes).
