Lollipops Are They Normally Gluten Free?

Hey I need candy help from the experts. Does the cheap flat red , yellow green lollipops that .. in the days of past ... You used to recieved from the doctors office .. have gluten in them.. Help a friend gave my toddler one and I am afraid of him throwing up .. thanks chris

I am sure they are gluten-free. They should be fine, as long as he doesn't react to food dyes or sugar.

It really depends on who makes them. Some companies like Brachs and Sathers say their candy is manufactured in a plant that also processes just about every known allergen except maybe fish. My daughter eats the Starlight mints and other hard candies and has never had a problem. But if you are really worried, Candy Tree makes some gluten free lollipops.

      @CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.
