What is everyone getting their mom for mother's day? My mom is IMPOSSIBLE to shop for! I'm trying to get ideas. :)

Well, since gas is super high....I am just planning on going home a few days to visit my mom. I don't get to see her much now that gas is so much. We will do thrift shopping which is something we love to do together. She does not like gifts so this will be more fun for her.

The best gift I ever gave to my mom was a week before my wedding I went to her house and took her for a road trip to NY to thrift shop, it was our last trip before I got married and we laughed and had so much fun. We still talk about it.

Hanging Baskets and/or flowers for the flower beds and then help getting them transplanted.

I agree second Janet about the flowers to plant or hanging baskets. I often get my mom those extra large geraniums that are already potted in a clay colored plastic container to set on the front patio all spring/summer.

Other ideas are a summer set of p.j.'s, perfume, a basket full of nice soaps and lotions, c ds with her favorite music, gift certificates to her favorite restaurant or clothing store, or gift certificates for manicures and/or pedicures or facials.

What kinds of things does your mom like Kassandra? That might help pinpoint gift options for you.

I got my mom hooked on Wildfire, which is an ABC Family show about a horse ranch. Since she raised horses when I was a kid, she loves it! This year, I'm trying to find all the songs on the show, and make a mixed tape for her :)

(every time i used the letters C and D together, it automatically changed them to say "celiac disease"...not really still using cassette tapes :P)

In people with celiac disease, gluten can trigger migraine headaches, and we have a category of research summaries on this topic: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/migraine-headaches-and-celiac-disease/

They are made in a dedicated gluten-free facility, but anything is possible. It looks like their product contains Xanthan Gum, is it possible you have issues with Xanthan Gum?  https://www.maninis.com/products/4-cheese-tortelloni/ This article might be helpful:

ABP2025, there are no definitive diagnostic tests for NCGS. It is arrived at by first ruling out celiac disease despite continuing symptoms from gluten ingestion.

So keep eating gluten daily, lots of it, until all celiac disease screening is completed. A negative biopsy would not rule out NCGS. Approximately 10x more people have non-celiac gluten sensitivity than have celiac disease, but there isn’t yet a test for NCGS. If your symptoms go away on a gluten-free diet it would likely signal NCGS.

Hi  I just had the same problem with Maninis Am gluten-free so I am very careful. It was delicious but big tummy ache and swelling.  I was soooo careful.  Nothing different but the tortellini.  Maybe cross contamination of some kind ?.  Best  Susan
