Anyone Have Severe Digestion Problems?

HI,

I have celiac and am experiencing many allergies. I have some severe problems with digestion. Everything i eat from salad to oranges, comes out in my stool in pristine condition. I feel hungry all the time but my body is holding all my food so that I am constipated, like all the food is too big and undigested to get it out.

My digestion is messed up, my elimination and my weight are messed up, I am totally depressed and my university plans are going out the window>

Please help with your suggestions.

I am sorry you continue to have problems. I suggest you see a GI specialist and tell them whats going on. I have the same problem with some food (nuts. salads, fruit) and for now I just avoid those foods. ;)

I hope you get things sorted out soon, please let us know how you are getting along.

I would tell your doctor for sure because you need to get you digestive system digesting again! He/She may do something to help.

Digestive enzymes may help, I don't know a lot about them but they may aid in your digesting.

You need to get to a dr so that you can get help with your digestion. You need to eat and digest properly so that you can be healthy. You don't want to have more problems.

I just got diagnosed with osteoporosis at 45. I have already more than 10% bone loss in my hips. Not good news especially since I am not that old.

Try to get someone to ehlp you with this now.

Definitely talk to your doctor! You might also try pureed food, maybe the liquified state of it will help. Digestive enzymes are the next thing to try. Good luck!

What college/university are you looking at? Any particular course of study?

I am asking for my six year old. It took us four months to figure out what was going on- a brand of extra virgin olive oil we were using for every meal. We changed the brand she instantly got better- from Gi to nephropathy to joint pain, to tinnitus to dry eyes. You name a symptom and she has it when glutened, so it's difficult to second guess when it's all so obvious. Anyway, two months later, i bought another bottle of the same brand, and the olive oil was sourced form 5 different countries, as opposed to one. It took exactly a month for her symptom to start all over again. And sure enough it was the oil! I am sorta getting tired of trying to get these "healthy" oils glutening her. Does anyone have any thought on cooking oils that they think for sure are not contaminated, or any certified glutenfee brands they suggest? I'd appreciate. At this point, I just need any oil that's free of contamination- healthy or otherwise. Healthier is better. But i'll tkae anything. Thanks

@CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.

Yep, the edit window times out very quickly. It's okay. I got a good laugh out of it.
