Changing My View

Shelly D.

Recommended Posts

Shelly D. Newbie

I want to see posts in date order, newest to oldest, so I can join some conversations but I can't figure out how. Some topics have hundreds, if not thousands, of threads with new and old all mixed together. How do I change my view so I can figure out if topics is still open and active?

I'm not sure what you are seeing. When you go to one of the topic areas, the topics are normally displayed with the most recent post first. The time the topic was started does not matter; just the time of the most recent post. New topics will be at the bottom until a moderator views them and approves them by pinning them. We don't close topics here. Any topic is open for new posts (this may or may not be a good thing). Topics which are deemed inappropriate are outright deleted, although this is rare.

If you are viewing a topic, then the posts are in chronological order, with the oldest first. You can read any thread from the beginning in post sequence, or you can start reading with the first unread (by you) post.

You may find the "view new posts" portal useful. It is on the tool bar to the right of your name and the Log Out button. It shows threads that have been posted to since your last visit, by time of post. The Moderators use it all the time to find new topics that need to be reviewed.

I hope that helped. If not, let me know and I will try harder.

Ichthus is the Greek word (using English letters) for fish. The letters in the actual Greek word form an acronym that come from the first letters in the Greek words for "Jesus", "God's Son," "Savior".   Now, back to your family's denial of your celiac disease, I think you can relate to this:

Thanks for the kind words. It's hard to convince my doctor to investigate further because of a negative blood test and he only tested me for one marker. 🙃 I've come to the point where I need to take this into my own hands because the doctors are infuriating and it's not going anywhere. I've been gluten free for a week and feeling better but I was still consuming dairy and I think that's what's backing me up. Next week no dairy introduced.

Hello mantooth nice to meet you it's so uncanny what you wrote you sound just like me even the back issues are exactly the same and I'm new here too trying to find out if I have the same had I too have been struggling to find answers with my docters I don't have a diagnosis but I've been struggling like forever and was told ibs and health aniexty was my problem but on researching I've come to the conclusion it's probably more because i cut gluten and lactose out for 6 months and  it was a incredible change for me so although I can't help with diagnosis I can say your not alone in trying  to find answers 😊
