Hiya, i have seen a great recipe for breakfast muffins - they call for 1 cup wheat germ, which i figured i would just exchange for one of our flours and 6 cups oats. can i change the oats for quinoa? and if not what could i use??

i hate giving her eggs and rice cakes (her favorite) every day :D

What all is she allergic to?

I have a good applesauce oatmeal muffin recipe if you can't get yours to work. I can post if you want it.

Another good recipe I tried recently called Breakfast Brownies, list to use 1 1/3 cups oats or to try 1 cup Quinoa flakes. They are so good. They taste like gingerbread cookie and my hubby said applecrisp. You can add any kind of chopped nuts or seeds. Kinda like a granola bar. You can find it @

I wrapped them individually and stuck them in the freezer.

She is "just" gluten and dairy free. and dairy only gives her exzema, so i don't care to give her dairy once in the blue moon if it is something really important - like cake!!!!!:lol::lol:

Thank you for your input!  I would really like to know if I have celiac disease because you need make sure you are not getting any cross contamination due to cancer concerns.  I guess I need to start with a knowledgeable Gastroenterologist. Thank you again!

Correct. I’m doing both in the same go though. Thanks for clarifying before I confused someone. I’m doing a colonoscopy for something else and then they added the endoscopy after the test.

It is a biopsy but it's not a colonoscopy, it's an endoscopy.

Well I’m going on the gluten farewell tour so they are about to find out lol. I keep saying biopsy but yeah it’s a scope and stuff. I’m a dummy but luckily my doctor is not.
