Celiac Neg, But Here Are Symptoms...can Anyone Help?

Okay, negative for Celiac after blood testing and biopsy. No GI type symptoms but can somebody look at these and see if they sound familiar to what anyone else has had going on? I feel like I'm dying of some mystery illness:

low rbc count

low wbc count

low platelet count

no iron stores

symptoms of malnutrition, despite very healthy intake

weight loss over 20lbs in past 3 years-- size 0 pants are now too large

infertility

gaunt, pale, and fatiqued

My son was conceived via IVF, but they had to induce early as he stopped growing-- I was not nourishing him en-utero.

Any other ideas? My thyroid checked out okay.

do you have your thyroid lab results with reference ranges? Did they test FREE T4, FREE T3, TSH and both antibodies???

If you can afford it, you can test with Enterolab. They will run genetic testing for Celiac and gluten sensitivity PLUS you can order antibody tests for gluten, dairy, egg and soy. Those are ALL problem foods for many.

If all else fails, you have nothing to lose by trying a GLUTEN FREE diet. Also eliminate Dairy, Soy and Egg at least for the first 3 months. Then re-introduce all of them one by one if you are felling better. If you have a problem with gluten, it may be permanent. Enterolab can help you make firm decisions about your diet and health.

You may want to ask for more info about that biopsy. I keep sharing the same story but I know a mom who had her kid biopsied and they said it was neg. for Celiac but happened to comment that "only one" of the bipsies showed damage. Mom knew better than the doc. that that meant he did have celiac disease.

Have you had a DNA test to look for the most commonly occurring Celiac genes?   There's some scientific evidence that Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity is a precursor to Celiac Disease in genetically predisposed people. Which foods do you react to?  How do you react?

You are right, I just feel I may have not been on top of it and Ive caused damage for years without knowing. Seems like nothing though?

No, one crumb from a month before the blood test would not materially affect the results of the test. I sense you are devoting a lot more "worry energy" to this than it deserves. That will do you more harm than a tick over normal on the TTG-IGA score.

Sometimes I have a bit of stomach, discomfort, anxiety, tiredness, and soreness but nothing that stops by normal day to day activities. I work a ton and am very active so likely it is related to that and not my celiac but unsure with everyone's symptoms and stories I see online.  I will definitely start doing this every year from now on. Could one crumb of gluten from a month before that blood test caused that spike ? I am trying to really trace back and think
