Crystal Deodorant Stone

I bought a product called Thai Crystal Deodorant Stone. The product is supposed to eliminate odor (not sweat) for 24 hours and is made of Mineral salt. My 11 year old is getting that stinky puberty thing going on and 2 showers a day is not working. With all the allergies he has I would rather not have him rubbing perfumes and chemicals into his skin. Before I have him try this I would love to hear some feed back from current or past users. Thanks

I use one. I alternate between this an normal deodrant. I have mixed thoughts about it. At times it seems to work fantastic, others I end up applying the deodorant over it after a few hours. I think it depends on how much I am sweating that day and if my body is trying to sweat out extra toxins.

My only complaint really is that it is like a roll on. It takes a few mintues to dry. I have been known to give it a blast from the hair dryer (on cold air) to speed up the drying process.

I have been using that product for over 2 years now and love it. For me, it works better than any deodorant I've ever used.

I think it would be ideal for your son :)

I used it as a teen, and not sure if it was a crazy hormone imbalance or what, but it didn't work at all for me. But if you have it already, you might as well give it a try! What is good for one isn't necessarily good for another ;)

My brother tried it - didn't work. I have a couple friends for whom it works great. Might depend on your personal chemistry and how much you sweat.

I've had one for almot a year now and really like it. I originally talked my husband into getting one b/c no matter what deodorant he got he would get a rash/discolorment under his arms. He has been using the crystal deodorant for a year now and his arm pits look normal and he likes the item -- sometime he says it does not work but majority of the time it does. We also got one for his mom who says she likes it (only brought up one time haha).

I did read somewhere can't remember where that "some" people the first week or two may smell while you are adjusting to the product. Something about the toxins leaving your body.

GOOD LUCK

Great feed back. My main concern was any reactions. Not everyone loved the product, but nobody claimed of any rash or reactions. Now we can give it a try. Thank you everyone!!

yup, works great for me. of course, it works great for odor caused by bacteria that live off of sweat - that's what most BO comes from. so, for some things (for me, an adult female, that means right around my period), it doesn't make much difference. but for what it is supposed to work on, it works great for me. I use the solid stick (takes less time to dry, for me), and the thing lasts for ever.

I love that there's wheat all over the wall paper for the gluten-free section. It looks good. Was the café included in the free meals or was that extra?
