Young Adults Section

I love coming to gluten free forum for help with my celiac questions, but have lately found that I can't find a good section to post them in. At 19, I feel as if my issues are too old for the teenagers section, but there isn't another age related section to post it in. I do not know who to ask to see if it is possible to have a young adults section added to the forums, so here is the best place to ask. If its possible to add it, it would be great! Thanks.

I have sent a message to the board administrator asking him to read this topic.

Oooh! I feel your pain on this one. I think it would be an awesome idea, I hope they seriously consider it!

Ok, maybe I'm getting old...I thought the teenagers section was for "Young Adults"? I get enough complaints already that there are too many different topics on this forum...I can't add more unless it really makes sense to do so. Could you create a thread within the teenagers section? Could I just change the name and description of the teenagers section to make it broader, like Teenagers and Young Adults...I like this idea better than adding another topic. Let me know what you think.

Take care,

Scott

Well, at 54, I don't fit either description, but perhaps changing the name will achieve the purpose without creating another forum.

Hi Everyone,

I updated the name of the "Teenagers Only" forum to "Teenagers & Young Adults Only." Hopefully this can be a place where college age adults can also feel at home. I recommend creating threads within that forum that are specific to your needs.

Take care,

Scott

Ichthus is the Greek word (using English letters) for fish. The letters in the actual Greek word form an acronym that come from the first letters in the Greek words for "Jesus", "God's Son," "Savior".   Now, back to your family's denial of your celiac disease, I think you can relate to this:

Thanks for the kind words. It's hard to convince my doctor to investigate further because of a negative blood test and he only tested me for one marker. 🙃 I've come to the point where I need to take this into my own hands because the doctors are infuriating and it's not going anywhere. I've been gluten free for a week and feeling better but I was still consuming dairy and I think that's what's backing me up. Next week no dairy introduced.

Hello mantooth nice to meet you it's so uncanny what you wrote you sound just like me even the back issues are exactly the same and I'm new here too trying to find out if I have the same had I too have been struggling to find answers with my docters I don't have a diagnosis but I've been struggling like forever and was told ibs and health aniexty was my problem but on researching I've come to the conclusion it's probably more because i cut gluten and lactose out for 6 months and  it was a incredible change for me so although I can't help with diagnosis I can say your not alone in trying  to find answers 😊
