Hi Folks,

I can't figure out how to reply to posts. Of course I've been looking at posts on peripheral neuropathy- doing searches. Alot of those are really old. I'm so new at this - so I guess I need to know how to find/create current posts on neuropathy and also how to reply to those. I have lots of other questions. Thought I would start here. Thanks so much. Susan

Welcome to the forum Susan!

To post a reply, you can do one of two things. There is a "reply" button in the lower right corner of the dialogue box. If you click on this box, it will paste a copy of that post into your response.

If you don't want a copy in your post, click on the "add reply" button below the dialogue box in the lower right side. It's below the first reply button.

I felt like that was confusing, but I hope it wasn't.

To create a new post, do what you did to create this one. Start it in whichever forum would be the most appropriate, and name it accordingly.

I am not taking anything except for the multivitamins that I purchased from the supermarket.

The critic acid and sodium citrate is corn unfortunately and they don’t have to label corn because it’s not part of the top 9 allergen and not mandatory 😭

Yaya, from the JAMA study you refer to: "Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity." No one on this forum is recommending  taking anywhere near that amount. We're talking about 5-10,000IU daily.

"Doses higher than the RDA are sometimes used to treat medical problems such as vitamin D deficiency, but these are given only under the care of a doctor for a specified time frame. Blood levels should be monitored while someone is taking high doses of vitamin D." Quoted from the Healthline article @Yaya linked above...
