Hi,

My husband loves Nacho Cheese Doritos but since they have wheat in them he can't have them, well yesterday I went shopping at Kroger and happen to look at their brand Max Flav'r tortilla chips Nacho Cheese. They taste so much like the Doritos my husband loved them and on the front of the bag on the bottom it says a Gluten Free Food.

Just thought incase anyone else out there also misses Nacho Cheese Doritos give these a try.

Sue

Thanks for the post! I went out and bought a bag tonight. We used to get a taco pizza from our local pizza place that had Doritos broken up on top. We used to love that pizza! I bought the Kroger chips tonight and we're going to have a Valentine's taco pizza Saturday night!

By the way, not only do they say they are a gluten free food, the package also says, "This products has never contained gluten." WOW! Talk about sounding confident! Way to go Kroger!!

I am not taking anything except for the multivitamins that I purchased from the supermarket.

The critic acid and sodium citrate is corn unfortunately and they don’t have to label corn because it’s not part of the top 9 allergen and not mandatory 😭

Yaya, from the JAMA study you refer to: "Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity." No one on this forum is recommending  taking anywhere near that amount. We're talking about 5-10,000IU daily.

"Doses higher than the RDA are sometimes used to treat medical problems such as vitamin D deficiency, but these are given only under the care of a doctor for a specified time frame. Blood levels should be monitored while someone is taking high doses of vitamin D." Quoted from the Healthline article @Yaya linked above...
