I just discovered the best gluten-free Chocolate Chip cookies! They are bite-sized, crunchy and have a hint of coconut. They are the store brand cookies of a natural food chain called Wild Oats. Check their website to see if there is a store near you. Its worth a trip! I bought 3 tubs when I was in Princeton last week. Open Original Shared Link

The very best chocolate chip cookies I have tasted to date are available from:

I also love their Cranberry orange biscotti, dipped in tea...yummy.

Both items freeze very well.

Patsy herself told me that her gluten-free items will be available in stores soon...not sure if they'll be in the US, as she is located in Canada.

I live in Northern Cal and order from her via the Net. I order in batches and freeze most of the order, so that I always have something of hers on hand.

      The ulcers are prepyloric ulcers. Not sure if that makes any difference.

      I had what was termed "lesions," and normally ulcers are in the stomach, rather than the small intestines. I'm not sure why they would want you to have her continue to eat gluten, since she had a positive blood test, but as her doctor said, if she is uncomfortable and having symptoms why not have her go gluten-free at this point? If her symptoms improve, it would be another indicator that she has celiac disease and/or gluten sensitivity. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
