Millet And Rice Pasta

Last time we went to a health food store in a different city, daughter went hog wild on various pasta. I couldn't see the point really since I can get several kinds of good pasta at our local health food store and our cupboard was already full.

But since I had a $5 off coupon and had to buy a certain amount of stuff to use it, I let her get what she wanted. She chose (among other things) Orgran Millet and Rice pasta.

We had it tonight. I wasn't expecting much after trying some millet tabouli. It was okay, I thought. Daughter hated it. The tabouli that is.

The pasta? Very good and apparently very filling. There were 4 servings in the package and we ate pretty close to just 2 servings. She normally goes back for more but she didn't.

While I wouldn't go out of my way for it, I will buy it again when we go back to that store.

Thanks for submitting the product review. If I come across that brand I'll give it a try.

I liked the Orgran pasta too. Same situation with us and the location of the healthfood store that sells it. I used to make a homemade hamburger helper type dish in the skillet and add in the curvy colored(veg.) rice and millet pasta.

Thank you both. I haven't had access to the test results but will get them and post here.

The ulcers are prepyloric ulcers. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Duodenal ulcers are not uncommon either and often result from H.Pylori infections. https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/duodenal-ulcer

I had what was termed "lesions," and normally ulcers are in the stomach, rather than the small intestines. I'm not sure why they would want you to have her continue to eat gluten, since she had a positive blood test, but as her doctor said, if she is uncomfortable and having symptoms why not have her go gluten-free at this point? If her symptoms improve, it would be another indicator that she has celiac disease and/or gluten sensitivity. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
