Hi Everyone,

I thought I would post this to save others the time of emailing the company.

WILTON:

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for getting back to us. Unfortunately, we do not get information on the different lines that the items are run on. We do follow proper cleaning procedures though, and so if any lines need to be switched over, they are cleaned. With them being in the same facility there is the chance of airborne contamination. I apologize for this inconvenience.

We appreciate your business.

Have a great day!

ME:

Thanks! Do you know if they are processed on the same lines as gluten products or separately?

WILTON:

Hi Emily!

Thank you for contacting Wilton!

The 710-738 doe not contain gluten, but there is gluten present in the manufacturing plant.

The 710-756 does not contain gluten, but there is gluten present in the manufacturing plant.

Happy Decorating!

ME:

Rosemary,

Thank you for your quick response!

These may actually be okay. Not all of us have to avoid stuff just because it is made in the same plant. They are being upfront about the possibility of CC, which is greatly appretiated. Those of us who are less sensitive could likely use them without issues but those of us who are very sensitive would want to avoid.

Wilton sprinkles and sanding sugar is all we use. Never had a problem, and their customer service is AMAZING!! Also, my kids are SUPER sensitive.

@CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.

Yep, the edit window times out very quickly. It's okay. I got a good laugh out of it.

I wrote that by mistake and there is no where I can edit this.

I hope you meant "pen pal" instead of "paypal".
