Daughter suspects Celiacs and stops Gluten on Sunday.

Doctor takes blood panel on Monday.

Daughter continues novice gluten free on Wednesday (today) with continued bloating and constant diarrhea.

Ultrasound, to rule out other issues on Thursday.

GI (Celiac specialist, thank goodness) doctor on Friday.

Should daughter continue with Gluten Free? Her GP doctor never mentioned making sure that she keep eating foods with gluten.

Thank you for your help! This forum is so helpful!

Yes she should keep eating gluten until all her celiac related testing is done. If she is having a biopsy she can start the diet the day the biopsy is done. She doesn't have to wait on the results.

Thank you for your input!  I would really like to know if I have celiac disease because you need make sure you are not getting any cross contamination due to cancer concerns.  I guess I need to start with a knowledgeable Gastroenterologist. Thank you again!

Correct. I’m doing both in the same go though. Thanks for clarifying before I confused someone. I’m doing a colonoscopy for something else and then they added the endoscopy after the test.

It is a biopsy but it's not a colonoscopy, it's an endoscopy.

Well I’m going on the gluten farewell tour so they are about to find out lol. I keep saying biopsy but yeah it’s a scope and stuff. I’m a dummy but luckily my doctor is not.
