Do you know if Lily of the Desert is made in a gluten free facility and/or if Tom's of Maine mouthwashes are made in gluten free conditions?

Thanks all

I think Tom's of Maine is safe. I called about their toothpaste a couple of months ago, and I am pretty sure that they said the only products that they make with gluten were a couple of their shampoos, but you should call to make sure. It was really easy to get a hold of them and they answered everything as though they were familiar with it.

Let us know if find out.

These are the mouthwashes by Tom's of Maine that are Gluten-Free, Natural Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash, Natural Cleansing Mouthwash and Natural Tartar Control Mouthwash. I don't know about Lily of the Desert thought, hope my other info helps.

Well I just called them, it looks like Lily of the Desert is made in a gluten free facility and is itself gluten free.

Thank you both. I haven't had access to the test results but will get them and post here.

The ulcers are prepyloric ulcers. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Duodenal ulcers are not uncommon either and often result from H.Pylori infections. https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/duodenal-ulcer

I had what was termed "lesions," and normally ulcers are in the stomach, rather than the small intestines. I'm not sure why they would want you to have her continue to eat gluten, since she had a positive blood test, but as her doctor said, if she is uncomfortable and having symptoms why not have her go gluten-free at this point? If her symptoms improve, it would be another indicator that she has celiac disease and/or gluten sensitivity. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
