Hi I guess I am scared. My major concern at the moment is that my teeth are literally disengrating. My two front teeth especially. Both chipped and both more today. Just randomly. Tooth enamel loss has been progressive over the last 20 years and rapid over the last several. I am afraid I won't have front teeth soon and I can't afford dental work. Is there any kind of financial support for people with celiacs that need dental work. Really at a loss. Anyone with similar experience? What did you do? Thanks

Hi,

I don't know about financial assistance plans. Maybe a local church could point you in the right direction?

Kind of wondering about the chipping teeth thing. Are you following the gluten-free diet? Sounds like maybe you are not absorbing foods/nutrients well.

Merry Christmas and I hope you find some answers.

In 3 months time before I knew about celiac, my four front teeth literally had holes in the back. Theyu looked like sponges. Still, my dentist never considered Celiac

You may want to look into a community clinic, or a dental school nearby to help. Sorry you are going throught this!

see if there's not a Terry Reilly clinic in your area.

Hope you can figure out what's going on!!

They had other appies to choose from so all's well that ends well. The Costco scallops are excellent but 4 x the price. Thanks!

Hello there, it's been ages since I signed into this account. Wanted to see if there were other celiac patients that have gone through perimenopause/menopause and chose to take estrogen or wear an estrogen patch? I know all of our bodies are different but curious how it went or is going for you. Thanks so much.

I believe I've seen them at Costco still in the shells (in the frozen seafood area), which might be a safe way to go.

A dedicated rack is a great idea if everyone in the house understands and supports the idea, and just to clarify, I didn't recommend just wiping the rack down, but washing it well in soap and hot water.

Thanks, I appreciate you getting back to me.  Sometimes the retailers don't have content info on products they sell and they have rewrapped them with no ingredients list. Guess I'll stick to prepackaged medalions with all the info.
