I had just gotten my order of Chebe Bread Mix. But I noticed on the package that they do not give directions for an actual Loaf of Bread. They say on the package to form the dough into balls or sticks. Has anyone tried a loaf of bread with Chebe?? If you cannot make a loaf of bread with Chebe, can anyone suggest a good bread ?? I am confused.

I like the bread from Charlotte's bakery a lot, but I only tried it at a conference and I think the shipping is ridculous. I recently tried a whole foods bread which was equally good, baked fresh, the best store-bought I've ever tried. I tried Mona's at the conference as well...comes in mix form and it tasted excellent, as well...no bread machine required to make and it's supposedly easy to make. I have the mix, but haven't made or tried to make it yet.

I don't think Chebe is intended to be made for a loaf of bread...bread balls, bread sticks, pizza, etc., but not a full loaf.

So the verdict: Charlotte's is ridiculously priced and Whole Foods has a comparable or better bread in their bakery...that's for pre-made. For mixes (one step higher in difficulty than going to the store and buying it) go with Mona's. And if you're planning on making your own: God bless you.

Did you see all the recipes they have on their website? I don't know if there is a regular loaf one, but there are tons of recipes.

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
