My daugthers date for the biopsy is finally through! 5th July :o) Dietician is next week. Thank goodness things are moving now. She's currently on a high dose of laxatives for a week to clear her bowels as she's been blocked up continuously for months.

My blood results should be back next week. My other ones were back today. Anemia neg, thyroid fine too (on pills). Still shattered!

hope you get a good dietician, we have one through an nfant and child nutrition program because of our daughters anaphylactic milk and eg allergies, they may suggest some weird things but they work

We've been given a small booklet to fill in what bread she eats, how often she has fruit, veg and dairy products and what some of them are. We also have to fill in a food diary for 4 consecutive days before we see him/her. Hope they are good.

      You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance" and click it, and then look at "Inactive Ingredients," as any gluten ingredients would likely appear there, rather than in the Active Ingredients area. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/

      One positive blood test result means you likely have celiac disease, but to confirm it they may want to do an endoscopy to verify it with biopsies. Unless you have severe symptoms now, you likely should continue eating gluten daily until all testing is completed, and should eat tons of gluten daily in the 2 weeks before an endoscopy.

      Be sure to look at the inactive ingredients, as it might still be naturally gluten-free.
