I wanted to quickly take an opportunity to thank all of you, and tell you that I luv ya! You are almost like extended family. You are always here when I need you, and when I go away and come back...you are always willing to help. Thank you for that:) I had an "unofficial" celiac disease diagnoses... with zero proof on paper. The little piddly handout that I got at the GI office about celiac disease didn't really help at all at getting me to be a functioning and happy person. You all helped me way more than any doctor or brochure...by far. Well, after the not so diagnosed diagnosis...that was it for help from any doc. Thanks to you all. I became able to function and care for my children, and now get glimpses of feeling like a normal person now and then:) I am still receiving help from you all, so I will look forward to the day of actually feeling normal again on a daily basis. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. T.H. if you read this...need to talk with you specifically.

When my daughter was diagnosed the dietician called and cancelled the appointment told us to by Danna Korn's book and come to this site.

Can you look up T.H. and private message them?

If not, I can give you a link to her blog.

I emailed them about this and this was their reply: I've been eating this every day for breakfast for years and have never had an issue. Jenny

For clarification, a product can contain wheat and be gluten-free, as many products in Europe use Codex wheat starch with the gluten removed. In this case Ka’chava contain barley grass, which is gluten-free. Again, Celiac.com does not make any claims about this product, only the company can do that, which they have done repeatedly, as you can see on their site: https://www.kachava.com/

Here is more info about how to do a gluten challenge for a celiac disease blood panel, or for an endoscopy: and this recent study recommends 4-6 slices of wheat bread per day:

If you test positive for celiac antibodies does this mean you positively have celiac disease? I have been gluten free for many years so I don't really want to start eating gluten again to get diagnosed thru endoscopy.

Hello,   Just wondering if anybody can help me out with energy levels. I am taking iron, vitamind3 and multivitamin as well and I cant seem to get back to how I was before. How long do the villi take to heal? I am in my 50s and I read somewhere that it can take longer to heal. I just got diagnosed in October2024 and I am brutely impatient any help would be greatly appreciated. Sophia
