My question is....I have been gluten free for 9 months...sometimes my lower intestines hurt still and i think i have inflammation because it goes to my lower back...Sometimes if i drink a ton of water it goes away.. So how do i get rid of inflammation ? do i eat just veg or dark green vegtables?

Please let me know..

Hello, my ten pence worth, it sounds like you might have a kidney issue. Are you taking a lot of supplements? Some supplements can promote the formation of stones. Alternatively you might, with the detoxing from gluten, just have tired kidneys! Have you had a urine test done? Might be worth visiting the doctor. There are herbal remedies for kidney stones too... just do a search on google. Magnesium is apparently very good too. Might explain why the pain goes away when you drink a lot of water... Hope this helps.

Have you tried eliminating soy and dairy? Soy causes a great deal of inflammation for me, both that and gluten will cause my intestines to swell and lead to 'pencil stool' (sorry for the TMI). It took me quite a while to figure out the soy issue as I thought I was getting glutened by gluten-free foods that had soy in them. I find asprin helps with the inflammation but don't know if it will for you.

I am not taking anything except for the multivitamins that I purchased from the supermarket.

The critic acid and sodium citrate is corn unfortunately and they don’t have to label corn because it’s not part of the top 9 allergen and not mandatory 😭

Yaya, from the JAMA study you refer to: "Taking 60,000 international units (IU) a day of vitamin D for several months has been shown to cause toxicity." No one on this forum is recommending  taking anywhere near that amount. We're talking about 5-10,000IU daily.

"Doses higher than the RDA are sometimes used to treat medical problems such as vitamin D deficiency, but these are given only under the care of a doctor for a specified time frame. Blood levels should be monitored while someone is taking high doses of vitamin D." Quoted from the Healthline article @Yaya linked above...
