Hey Kim! It's Nisla... (the playdough girl...)

anyway, does this count on internet sales only or if I buy them at Life Grocery too??? Thank you for doing that by the way.

By the way, if anyone hasn't tried Kim's 1-2-3 Gluten Free Southern Glory Biscuit Mix or her Pancake Mix, you absolutely HAVE TO! All of the mixes are excellent, but those two are absolute staples in my house.

:) Thanks for the info..I think it would be absolutely great if all celiacs could help these folks in their effort; to say nothing of the fact that their products are absolutely FABULOUS.

I have been baking gluten-free for many years and I had never successfully made a baking powder biscuit. Mine always turned out like hockey pucks. This really bothered me because my gluten-free hubby always loved biscuits and gravy. I was astounded at this company's biscuit mix. Its fast, easy and they always turn out perfect. We had chicken & noodsles & biscuits the other night and my 8 year old granddaughter made the biscuits. They also freeze great (although ours never last long enough to make it to the freezer). Makes a great egg mcmuffin, chicken a la king, strawberry shortcake, or just warm dripping with butter and honey. etc. etc.

I have also used their pan bars a lot, but I have never tried one of their mixes that weren't great. I plan to stock up to help support their Katrina effort.

Hi Nisla,

I remember you well. Thanks so much for your kind words. It's very gratifying to know that people enjoy our products.

We are donating 10% of our proceeds for all sales during September. Internet sales is the most direct way. But, if you purchase an item at a store, they are more likely to order more to replace and we'll give 10% off that order -- does that make sense?

We've also sent some food to Mississippi to be baked up at a camp being set up for evacuees with autism (and their families) and should anyone contact us for other needs, we'd be pleased to help. It hasn't been easy locating those in need in this terrible disaster. That's why we decided that money to general funds (like Red Cross, Salvation Army) might be more helpful.

We really appreciate your support and supporting our efforts to help those affected by Katrina.

All my best,

Kim.

I will let Life Grocery know, since I think they need to place another order REALLY soon! (I'm craving more biscuits and they are OUT!)

Thanks for doing what you do...

I made "Aaron's Rolls" the other night and my family absolutely devoured them!

I love raving about your product because DANG... it's a GREAT product line!

Thank you so much.

We'll also give them a call to see if they are ready to order.

Thanks again. It's truly been a dream to get this family business up and running and testimonials from people like you has been our best advertising. I truly appreciate it.

Kim.

Hello, I’ve been gluten free for over a year now. I now know and understand that I have been celiac my whole life and my body has been battling without me knowing. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else after diagnosis but I feel like my immune is system is stuck fighting. My mouth is always tingling, I always see stars in my vision, my heart is always pounding, I am always shakey, I get super warm at times. I also cant get rid of this frequent urination either. I definitely notice improvements since going gluten free but its like my body does not have enough power itself to push through this stage. I have an appointment with my doctor this Thursday. But I am wondering if anyone else has experienced symptoms like this and if there is any cause for concern that my nervous system is damaged.

Hi there, I have a few questions about my daughter who is 2 and has been gluten-free for two weeks following her diagnosis please! She was originally diagnosed due to having faecal impaction and chronic constipation. Since starting the gluten-free diet, we are still on daily movicol but she is pooping a lot more than before. Could this finally be her naturally clearing out the backlog as her digestive system is actually starting to work again? Secondly the colour of her stools has recently been a bit pinkish. It does not look like blood, but I wondered if this is normal again for a colour shift post diet change? Finally, she has had a very large tummy due to the coeliac. How long does this take to go down? Thank you!

Everything I had was included in the cruise fare. The coffee at cafe al baico is not but,  ALL baked goods are! If you want a coffee, latte, or espresso the charge is $4 to $5. Not bad for some excellent coffee! The buffet and spa cafe has free coffee and drinks. Also large selection of the best ice cream, sorbet, and gelato at sea for free!  with Celebrity I don’t feel like I have a handicap.
