Just wanted to say if anyone's touring California's "other" wine country, this cafe was wonderful.

I have been so afraid to eat out, but was relieved when I saw they make sandwiches on gluten-free bread. The waitress understood immediately about CC and took it very seriously. My grilled bacon avocado sandwich on Ezekiel bread was fabulous.

On another note, we were quite a threesome. One friend has been HIV positive for more than 20 years and is doing great, the other became blind as an adult and brought his beautiful service dog along.

Sure gave me a lot of perspective about my own condition. (My friend with HIV even joked that she'd rather have what she has than what I have because she is such a foodie!)

We had a wonderful fall day touring wineries and two eateries and not a mishap. The company was wonderful -- we're all storytellers and love to laugh.

Just goes to show that life goes on and can be beautiful no matter what.

@CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.

Yep, the edit window times out very quickly. It's okay. I got a good laugh out of it.

I wrote that by mistake and there is no where I can edit this.

I hope you meant "pen pal" instead of "paypal".
