Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate, and to those who don't - give thanks for all the good things in your life anyway. No matter how bad things get sometimes, there really ARE so many good things in ALL our lives to be thankful for. Realizing this makes for a happy life.

Right now I am one hurting unit. My jaw is so sore and swollen I can barely get my mouth open. I won't be going anywhere to eat today. But I just had friends in for coffee, I'll be at the shop putting up my tree for Black Friday, and then I'll go home to my nice warm house and my sweet little cat. I'm thankful for the friends, I'm thankful that I own my own business, I'm thankful for my home in the beautiful Black Hills, and I'm thankful for my kitty companion.

Among SO MANY other things.

Yep, I am one VERY happy person! :):D:wub:

Oh, Bartfull, your life sounds wonderful! I, too, am nursing a swollen jaw. I don't know what I was thinking when I scheduled a dental appointment only two days before Thanksgiving! Even so, I intend to eat as much as I can. I've been on an anti-cancer diet for three months that includes no meat....and I'm salivating at the thought of eating some turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy. (Gravy--yay!!!!) These are soft things, so I'm hoping it won't hurt too much to eat them.

You and I appear to be thankful for almost identical things. I'm thankful for my sweet little cottage near the marina where I can feel cozy with my four kitties. What a beautiful day it is here in Northern California--sunny and warm. I hope your Thanksgiving proves as delightful as you have planned it to be--Happy Thanksgiving from one very happy person to another!

@CeliacPsycho246, You might try cutting out dairy.  Some of us react to Casein, the protein in dairy, the same as to gluten.

Yep, the edit window times out very quickly. It's okay. I got a good laugh out of it.

I wrote that by mistake and there is no where I can edit this.

I hope you meant "pen pal" instead of "paypal".

Hi, I would be open to having a paypal. I am celiac as well. And am struggling with all symtoms.
