  1. Well, got my results today; he said my biopsy showed changes to my small bowel consistent with Celiac disease, so I guess it's finally official. I am just so relieved to finally have an answer.
  2. This doctor had been a gift from God. I have been suffering for many years with these symptoms, along with additional issues from Sjogren's syndrome. All the doctors, specifically Rheumatologists, I have delt with are not usually very compassionate and I feel very brushed off most of the time. From my first visit with him, even though he didn't have an answer...
  3. Hi everyone, I had my biopsy on Friday and my phone appointment for follow up was scheduled on Wednesday. He said he should have the results by that day. Well, he did call but he said the results were still not in. How long do the results usually take and is there a different processing time it takes whether the results are positive or negative, or is...
  4. Thank you all. Yes, it is so confusing. In all honesty, I just want to feel better. If there is something I could do to feel better, I will do it. It will just be nice to finally have an answer! Not sure when my biopsy will be scheduled, but I am hoping soon!
  5. I'm confused. Is it still possible to have Celiac with the EMA being negative? I'm still waiting to be scheduled for biopsy but the waiting is driving me crazy! My ttg IGA was 23.38 normal being less than 3.99.
  6. This makes complete sense. He said he needed biospy to confirm the diagnoses so that must be why. Looking into Celiac, it literally explains all my symptoms. I even read it can cause women to have low birth weight babies, my last 2 were small 5lbs 17inches full term. I usually feel crazy after leaving doctor appointments because they can never figure out...
  7. Just curious is there something else that could cause your TTg IGA to be high? I read that this test is pretty specific to Celiac. I do have Sjogren's syndrome as well but just wondering what he meant when he said "might" have Celiac.
  8. Thank you, that is what my doctor said as well. It is just so surreal to me right now. I have been complaining of these issues for years, on top of neuro symptoms and doctors always made me feel very unvalidated when I would try to explain my symptoms. It made sound weird to say, but it's a relief knowing their might finally be an answer and a treatment for...
  9. Thank you! This makes sense and verifies my understanding of what I had already read about it. Someone from my Sjogren's group had said that she believed it only meant Celiac if the IGA was low and ttg IGA was high but both of mine are elevated, so it confused me.
  10. I have been diagnosed with Sjogrens syndrome for about 5 years and have always had unexplained GI symptoms. Just recently I went back to the GI doctor seeking some answers. He initially diagnosed me with IBS and said he would run a few test just in case. Well my appointment was yesterday and now today he called saying that my blood tests so far show I might...
