  1. I have seen this product advertise a lot online. I see it contains lots of grain. That is a big NO for me. I just do not tolerate any grains. I certainly react to rice. Going past those self serve bins in supermarkets make mt eyes burn and I had gotten hives from rice before. But I do appreciate that this article explains what this product actually IS. As...
  2. Finding a drug to treat Celiac in my opinion is kind of useless if you are stuck with a severe corn problem! I can't go anywhere NEAR corn derivatives! The last few times I had encounters with hidden corn in various products (from potting soil to shampoo) I had a variety of nasty reactions including horrible itching and even Pots. So if the wheat would be...
  3. It was actually BANANAS causing my lower back pain... Going grain free for over a year did not get rid of the back pain.. Still grain free but also banana free too..
  4. Catsup was one of the very first foods I would react to! It would give me bad diarrhea! This went on for over a year until I had figured out it was the catsup. Once I cut it and all other "goopy" foods the diarrhea had stopped. So that meant absolutely NO catsup, mustard, mayo, dressings or anything similar. I don't know why but the catsup problem had showed...
  5. Oh and even though I am grain free since July 2019 my hair continues to fall out, often in big clumps and most of the half moons on my fingernails are gone. Before they used to be on every finger. My skin is super soft though! And on a few toes I am growing double toenails. One complete nail on top of another. Many of my toenails grow up into the air...
  6. The problem is my primary doctor doesn't listen to me. I keep telling her that I think it is celiac I have and she says it is NCGS. And if they say its NCGS then you dont get any follow up tests like you do for celiac. She is also the one who says that a white tongue (or other colors) is just something some people have. So she just blames it on me for poor...
  7. I have had undiagnosed gluten sensitivity (or celiac) for 20 years before I found out what the problem was. Unfortunately by then I had leaky gut and had developed numerous food sensitivities. Which leaves me with just a few safe foods to eat that I don't react to. My main doctor is worried about my weight and these food sensitivities. She has given...
  8. I would get those maybe 4 times a year back before I went gluten free in July 2019. And low B1 did show up on one of my blood tests. But I never had any tests done while I had the sores in my mouth...
  9. Why do they call these pollutants "organic"? I thought organic meant stuff was free of pesticides? I think this term probably confuses a lot of people. I know I was trying to explain it to a friend the other day. Because these days when you see the word Organic you think of organic food that hopefully is free of pesticides, etc. Because I don't really see...
  10. I don't use cutting boards, colanders, condiments, etc. And my pot is new and there never was any wheat products in it. It only had meat, eggs or veggies in my 2 pots and I bought them new about a year ago. I can't eat sunflower seeds because I can't find any that are not on shared lines with soy in my local stores. And the almond milk always...
  11. I need to eat bananas every day to get my potassium and magnesium. If I don't eat 2 or 3 each day I get the jerky leg and then I can't sleep so I can't cut those out. And I can only skip milk for maybe 2 days and then my teeth will get achy. It's my source of calcium and vitamin D. I don't eat rice. I'm relying on actual...
  12. Hi. I'm new here and just joined. I've been suffering this past month with gas and bloating that just simply won't go away.. it all started when I went to my allergist and she decided to run a celiac blood test. The thing is before she said that I had been gluten free for 10 days and before that my only grain exposure was a white bun about 3 times a week...
