  3. Do not worry at all about the upper endoscopy procedure. I felt nothing 7 weeks ago with an anesthesiologist administering propofol (Diprivan). Insist on an anesthesiologist with proper monitoring.
  4. I was diagnosed with celiac disease within a month after having post-prandial stomach discomfort for 3 or 4 months. The diagnosis was made by upper endoscopy with biopsy of the duodenum. The referral to a gastroenterologist was made almost immediately by my primary care physician. I was not blown off most likely because I am a recently retired physician...
