Morgan, you've got the right idea!
I'm trying.....and notice that I said bowl not mug I think that it is necessary to not hold back in this case
-
Lisa, I'm sorry about your meeting, your day, and all your problems I'm willing to stop the ice cream talk to try and cheer you up....and if I can't find a way to cheer you up than at least I'll say that I hope tomorrow will be better for you. Maybe a big bowl of ice cream would help....don't hold back. Engorge yourself...pull a Rachel
-
i have officially finished the quart of ice cream i started 2 hours ago!
yumyum, now what's for dinner?
I'm impressed
-
if they are jerks they can't be the best for us!
haagen daaz what i live off of!
They are the best even though they're jerks. It's too bad they're too lazy to worry about the people like this group.....we can't eat there yet we eat TONS and TONS of ice cream.
-
My favorite was Haagen Dazs, Mayan Chocolate, Dulce de Leche, and Mango
I LOVE haagen Dazs I also like Ritters custard....is that gluten free? I just realized that I don't really know I haven't had it in forever, so I never found out.

Molly, the ice cream eating in Rachelville is quite contagious.
Donna, rain attire
Rachel started it

Had a bat in my house about a year ago. It really freaked out my ten year old beagle. The bat was flying around and the beagle was howling at it. After we got the bat out of the house, the bealge hid under the bed for about a week whenever we left the house. Poor little beagle.
Awww

I actually went out to buy some strawberry ice cream, and came home an read all this!
I now will proceed to eat the 1 quart carton while doing my history notes that are due next monday when school starts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(but yummy ice cream...)
Well I hope you don't get absorbed in the conversation enough to fail to write those darn history notes One week!!! Yikes
-
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!
(I say this though I have phobias of my own. SPIDERS are mine. I can handle one at a time but if someone invited me to sit in a restaurant while swarms of spiders scittered by I'd be out of there like a shot!!!!)
Yuck, spiders are no good. They're disgusting, make webs for me to vacuum up, and bite....the bats keep to themself, don't hang out in our house and eat mosquitoes. I would be out of that place too.
-
Poor Molly is probably running from the room shrieking about now!
sorry Molly
-
I would rather see millions of bats (which ends up being really cool) than get bit by a million bugs
-
Hey, I've seen those Austin bats fly out at dusk! It's really pretty cool. I was born in Austin & have relatives there so visit now & then. It would be a cool city if it weren't so durn HOT! (105 when I visited June before last...)
HURRAY your challenge is almost over!!!!
I saw that once although I don't remember exactly where I was. I was little and it was one of the coolest things I can remember

Remarkable restraint...perhaps you can teach classes in RESTRAINT.
lol....no I don't think I'm capable of that. Restraining is not the easiest thing fo me to do
-
Coffee seems to be helping me heal... as silly as that sounds.
I'm really glad the coffee's helping you It's really interesting.

Be careful...that's how I got sucked in, lol...just went to check out a bead store and came out with all kinds of stuff including some of the strechy nylon "wire" that only requires a knot to close...that's how I made nearly 60...only requires beads and the "wire".
I'm going to take a beading class in a couple of weeks to learn how to do the fancy clasps....crimp beads and all. Don't think that will slow me down much though...
I can definitely see how that happened....I went in there and it's sooooooo cool I wanted to buy just about every bead in there and the expensive (at least in my book) sterling silver chains. I was sucked in. However, I didn't buy anything bc I need to be sure I don't have a certain bead first. But after that......who knows
If it makes you feel any better, we hardly have any mosquitos in Austin, we have the largest urban bat colony in North America living under a downtown bridge! That's 1.5 million bats eating 3,000 mosquitoes a night...Makes your job easy
Especially since the purple glittery bats need extra mosquitos to be sparkly
I'm totally spinached and pulling a Rachel all this week...
That's right kids, last week of the gluten challenge, biopsy is MONDAY!!!
You know what that means? Severe gluten overload to do as much damage in as little time as possible while eating things I want that I'll never be able to eat again!
I had a bagel for breakfast, pop tarts for a snack, and for lunch...4 slices of bread, a breadstick, french onion soup with crutons, and now I'm eating tiramisu!
My policy this week is to have gluten in hand at every moment!!! Gotta have an accurate biopsy!!!
I'd say that I hope you feel well, but if you're celiac then it's obvious that you don't I hope all turns out correct though.

Has to be quick to fulfull Rachel's ice cream frenzies, lol.In honor of Morgan, I say we add "delisious" to the vocab list, as in everything here in Rachelville is soooo delisious because of the clean air, auxigro-free soil and produce, hormone free cows, and our pest control glittery purple bats.
.....the ice cream is so delisious, the chocolate is so delisious, the bumble bars are so delisious, the corn tortillas are so delisious.....
dare I say even the Ener-G bread is delisious??
No, that one is probably going too far
Hi Patti!
I think that would be going a little too far....unless it was used to add texture to certain meals like breakfast casseroles. Then it's delisious
Clearly I have the "Rachel" thing going on, even in hobbies....Stop me folks, I'm on a roll today. HR person is gone, I bought more beads, no chocolate in a week and no diet coke in two days!
Did I mention I just STARTED two weeks ago.
Yes, I like delisious...bumble bars are so delisious!
You are definitely, no doubt about it, on a role. I'm thinking about walking down the street and taking a peek in the bead store that I heard about. Although, I'm in Ohio and my jewelry stuff is in Indiana, so I won't be able to make anything out of it for a while
Definately going too far.Rachelville Vocabulary Update:
1. Relevation (sorta like revelation)
2. Spinach/Spinached/Spinaching
3. Good Googly Moogly (another spin on OMG)
4. Scientificness (science lessons)
5. Wordage
6. Pulled a Dave/”Dave” (rule breaking)
7. Cruel age (too cruel)
8. Presidentness (our lovely Prez has spoken)
9. Pulled a Rachel/”Rachel” (overindulgence in a food item, ie. Ice creamage)
10. Delisious
I feel special. Thanks a lot. Now I can completely quit backspacing and retyping
-
Cool! I'm just starting up again...used to make earrings years ago and just decided to make bracelets...
I have made almost 60 in 2 weeks. Need bead intervention quickly....
Wow, I definitely don't make that much. I just make a little something every once in a while.
-
yes, you should have done no such thing. That is where some of Rachelville vocabulary is born from, typos!
Don't worry it won't happen again....that is except when I write delicious. I always spell delisious first. It sounds kind of like Odysseus and that just won't work in my book. So unless it were to be added to the vocabulary, then I'll continue to correct that.

I'm in Bloomington...
So you were the one that went to Nick's with my Mom
-
Yes, relevation. You are catching on rather quickly Morgan An ice cream maker would make an excellent present.
Well it was kind of hard to forget about that one since I ended up typing revelation the Rachelville way first. I backspaced and retyped it, but then realized I should have done no such thing
-
I just had a revelation...or is it a relavation in R-ville? I should ask for an ice cream maker as a christmas present That is definitely going to make the top of the list!!!
-
Well, we don't want our bats to die, or even worse, start biting!
Maybe our bats will be even more unique than they already are and eat something else. Maybe minnows from the ocean since they like the water so much that they are even glittery from it.
Heehhee! Yep! Our dogs used to hunt them. One time our dog got caught in the armadillo's tunnel and we had to pull him out. By the time we got him out, he had passed out from lack of oxygen!I digress here!!
I need a job in Rachelville too. I'm a former teacher. I make jewelry. I'm a calligrapher. I market a health beverage. Any jobs available?? How good is the PAY!?
The dog and the armadillo story is funny!!!
I love to make jewelry....especially earings and beaded jewelry What kinds do you make?
-
As...a matter of fact I just made a new batch.
I tend to come racing home on my lunch break and the first thing I do is get the ice cream going. Its perfect....by the time I'm done eating something "healthy" my ice cream is READY.
I just finished my first and ONLY bowl!!!
I cant even believe this....I'm learning!!
The rest goes into the freezer for later.
Sounds delicious And ONLY one bowl....so Rachel isn't going to pull a Rachel Let me know how long the ice cream remains in the freezer
-
Well, still.... to skim through all those pictures....WOW
I meant to say pages not pictures....
Actually I am Susan W.It was very quick skimming. I'd say I cheated & missed pages of course. Probably lots of pages. My idea of skimming is very broad. Ha!
Rachel, have you reunited with your ice cream maker yet???
