  1. I've been reading that gluten-free pizzas are one of the most common items to be cross contaminated, and gluten-free pizza is probably the thing that I order the most.
  2. Thanks. It looks like GliadinX is out of stock at the moment but I did find an alternative product which has good reviews. I think I might stop eating out altogether for a while just to be safe, and then think about using one of those products after I am feeling better.
  3. Just wanted to add, my last gluten exposure that I know of was in March 2021. So I am trying to figure out why I have not had any improvement in more than a year.
  4. Hi, I usually eat out at restaurants or cafes about once a month (just an estimate). I order gluten-free menu items but I never tell them I have celiac unless they ask, which has only ever happened 2 or 3 times. How likely is cross contamination in this scenario? Also, would it be a good idea for someone who still has symptoms to stop eating...
  5. Thanks for this information. Now that you mention it, I have previously reacted to some packaged foods that had sulfites listed as an allergen. I don't have hives by the way, the symptoms that I get from reactions are mostly fatigue, depression, brain fog, and upset stomach.
  6. Thanks everyone. I forgot to mention, I do have an intolerance to high histamine foods, so that could mean I am reacting to the green beans and peas, but it wouldn't explain the reaction to cauliflower and broccoli. And again, the reactions only happen some of the time, not all the time, which makes it even more confusing. I have a theory that my...
  7. I don't know what kind of reaction it is, that's why I'm asking. The problem I'm having is that I seem to be able to eat foods at certain times of the day and I can tolerate it, but eaten at a different time of day the same food will cause symptoms. It is literally the same food, just eaten at a different time of day. I've gone into more detail in the...
  8. Good point, I hadn't looked at it that way before. The reason I wanted to try goat's milk instead of cow's milk is because I am still dealing with some symptoms, and I read that goat's milk is less inflammatory than cow's milk so I was hoping that it might help my symptoms by reducing inflammation. But like I said the cow's milk doesn't cause any noticeable...
  9. It's the other way around. I'm having an issue with goat's milk, not cow's milk. I seem to tolerate cow's milk just fine. I haven't tried sheep's milk or duck eggs.
  10. Yesterday I used some goat milk in the morning and I reacted to it. I felt awful for the whole day - bloating, stomach cramps, fatigue, etc. I also had something similar happen when I tried goat cheese several weeks ago. I can find almost no information on this. Almost everything online seems to point towards goat milk being a healthier option than cow...
  11. But wouldn't that mean I would be having the problem later in the day instead of earlier?
  12. Hi, I am having a very strange issue that I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on. I've noticed that I seem to be reacting to foods at certain times of the day and not at other times. For example, yesterday I ate the following for lunch: Salmon Potato Green beans Peas Corn Carrot I reacted to one...
  13. Not yet. The appointment is Friday next week. I will let you know how it goes.
  14. Hi everyone, There's one more thing that I thought might be relevant here. I can't be completely sure, but I thought that when I used the almond milk the reaction began to happen as soon as it was in my mouth, before I had even swallowed it. I have never noticed this with any other food. Could this also point towards an allergy?
  15. I forgot to mention, I have probably eaten small amounts of almonds in other products, but I have never eaten them whole.
