  1. only way it could be a risk is if they lied to my face, in which case THEIR face is the next thing going on that grill LOL. but no i have history of this happening when i eat plain steak, also used to choke on dry aged steak
  2. all of my deficiencys were sub-clinical but I really suspect my childhood asthma and my severe dust allergy are direct results of untreated celiac. I also had "itchy ears" my whole life until i cut gluten. the symptoms are diverse
  3. I read a theory of some sort that autism MAY be attributed to having too much gliamorphine in the bowels during developmental stages. gliamorphine is a naturally occurring opiate that comes from the gliadin protein, which is what we celiacs react to. I think its also a theory that celiacs have gliamorphine leak from their guts into the rest of their body...
  4. you're not going to like it but those 2 slipups were enough to undo much of the work you were doing. the standard estimate is 3 months before you heal up with some people taking longer and some people (especially small children) recovering in a week. since you're shrinking and that MUST have something to do with caloric metabolism you probably have some B...
  5. I'm not 100% sure if it's just beef, but when I eat a wendy's lettuce wrap burger or a steak or something with a lot of beef I'll wake up the next morning drenched in sweat that smells bad enough to knock me out again. I'm curious if this is just poor fat metabolism or a beef intolerance. my stomach and abdomen feel fine, good even.
  6. scared the s$#& out of me. no i don't have brain damage, seen people who were "perma-fried" though
  7. yeah so you clearly went from an unhealthy diet to a healthy one. the fact that you cut gluten may not be the reason you're feeling better. I did the same thing multiple times before diagnoses though, would drink like a pound of spinach daily
  8. yeah i was just saying because i was paranoid about nerve damage and medication instructions so i refused to take a second B100 on any days, when it sounds like I would need to take 5 a day for a month to start overdosing on the niacin and stuff
  9. i think these are definitely the first things I'm going to do. it makes sense because I have a real anorexia problem (not nervosa) which has probably helped my health a lot those times i was exposed to harmful foods but probably puts me in a constant state of sub-clinical malnourishment. also the anxiety and loss of appetite made me turn to pot, which can...
  10. not sure how it can be toxic if my damaged guts are absorbing lower amounts of it anyways
  11. its really more of a cautionary tale for parents to take their kids "faking sick" all the time seriously. I don't talk to my father at all anymore because he made one serious mistake towards the family and I just remember him as the guy who used to bully me every day.
  12. thanks, this is not the first time a thiamine deficiency has been connected to my problems. think its time i just get B1 pills and stop messing with this b100 because its not working
  13. i mean im getting provoked by reading about things instead of them happening in front of me. I had like 3 straight days where I wanted to dive down into hell and make sure Jim Jones is still suffering and that kind of thing. Not actually but I was angry about something that happened 52 years ago
  14. even gluten free oats give 10% of celiacs an identical reaction to gluten. some celiacs can really obviously tell when their body isn't digesting something or somethings gone wrong. I had tonnes of symptoms but they were always minor, take a day off school my dad's shouting at me about how I'm going to grow up to become a lazy slob, take a day off work by...
  15. about 3 months. only oats are potentially "cross-reactive", you'll be lactose intolerant until after you recover, but lactose doesn't cause an auto-immune reaction it just gives you a lot of gas and bloating. You will also probably need to start supplementing vitamins if you don't already. It took me a bit of trial and error to find out what I was lacking...
  16. On and off for the past 3-4 years I get these intense feelings of rage and despair that are usually provoked by trivial media. I don't throw tantrums or anything but I've been getting goosebumps a lot lately. Is it cabin fever or might it be celiac related?
  17. yeah in my experience any part of the body that gets inflamed starts to pulse. and if you get carpel tunnel or any other kind of nerve damage it goes numb for a long time and then when it wakes up it feels like someone is pumping a squirt gun into it. villus atrophy is nerve damage right? numb bowels?
  18. the kicking is probably your heartbeat. it SHOULD mean your guts are healing but if you have worse symptoms your guts could be leaky or something. I had this happen before and it went away on its own
  19. Absolutely. I have this bad habit of talking to myself that started when I was a kid and never really stopped. I think it was my coping mechanism for the brain fog. I don't have short term memory loss but I got bullied a lot and thought I was crazy until I admitted that I talked to myself to someone and they were like "dude everyone does that, it's only crazy...
  20. i had that too, cutting gluten eliminated it, I think its plaque bacteria eating the lactose in the back of your throat that didn't dissolve. also explains why it seemed to come and go
  21. hot emergen C with a spoonful of honey is a great sleep aid. something about vitamin loading makes me sleepy, kind of like eating a large meal i think
  22. i was eating 100g of protein a day before i gained mass, and the messed up thing is i look skinnier now
