  1. You should only really take melatonin if you're flipping to night shift or something. it messes with your circadian rhythm. benadryl is just bad. get some reactine. (cetrizine hydrochloride) its like someone is like "damn i wish allergy meds made you drowsy like they did in the 60s"
  2. vitamin D and magnesium helped. still not sure if i need to be taking magnesium but i had calcium nodes and heard magnesium is the bodies counterbalance to calcium
  3. definitely more worried about anorexia than diabetes on my side
  4. I can rise from squats right now but after a day at work i have weakness all over. it felt like low blood sugar or something so i ate candy. guess if you need b vitamins to metabolize sugar i might have started a vicious cycle
  5. i'm already supplementing B complex. but the thiamine deficiency explains some experiences I had in the past
  6. Yeah I came across it out of a complete fluke. I had some edibles and they made my mouth numb like i was allergic or something. I googled whether it was normal for THC to numb your mouth and found some "how can marijuana effect your stomach" article and that's how I found out this was a thing. It's really hard to catch because long term THC users probably...
  7. there's all kind of protein powders, like pea or egg white. alternatively you can just eat more eggs, legumes, and meat
  8. gonna keep reiterating that long term cannabis use causes stomach problems. don't think it's well known, and I'd wager a LOT of coeliacs turned to cannabis because initially its great for the symptoms
  9. you probably have asthma now. any cannabis use? it can cause hyperemesis which will make you vomit and stuff, also can cause dry reflux. do not cough too much, if you can't stop get an inhaler. if your shortness of breath is really bad dont worry about COVID, go to ER and they'll treat you as if you have it, but asthma is serious and even moreso right...
  10. Also mainstream brands of oatmeal are processed with wheat equipment. quaker oatmeal almost certainly has gluten
  11. oats do not have gluten but they're very close so some unlucky people have the same reaction.
  12. try taking an antihistamine like benedryl if you're havingh trouble swallowing. the mild allergies are very pervasive. i have an allergy to sesame seeds and i didn't notice because they were attached to a burger, then i had a sesame cracker one time and it burned like acid.
  13. I just recently came across CHS, it actually explains the symptoms I had which caused me to see the doctor in the first place. I've been a cannabis user for about 10 years and I guess long term use of THC specifically causes stomach issues. I didn't mention my cannabis use to doctor out of fear of being treated like a drug addict and just told to go to NA...
  14. B vitamin malabsorbsion also causes anxiety and depression
  15. i would guess lactose intolerance before glutening. but yeah it could have just been too much grease in the pizza
  16. i had this from a dust allergy. the doctors assumed detergent first because i thought i was clean and they assumed i was clean. i put a dusty book on my pillow or something.
  17. B complex doesn't show up on the tests and subclinical deficiencies are common with electrolytes. potassium is what your body uses to diffuse most of its fluid, so if something is dry that should be wet or vice versa you're probably not eating enough fruits and veggies
  18. I had asparagus ears all the time too. it probably is your saliva not digesting the proteins in the back of your throat. it contains the same enzymes as the rest of the tract
  19. i know this is dumb input but make sure its not thirst. dehydration can make your stomach burn. i think you also need potassium to hydrate your organs if that's the case
  20. i would get nausea every time i ate for a long time and it seemed to go away once i managed to expand my stomach. just a lot of potatoes and beans
  21. it will take 3 months from those crumbs, but if she's getting nauseous she might be eating something she can't handle with damaged villi. -lactose -caffeine if she doesn't have those it gets more complicated but from what i gather the most common 3 intolerances are -salicylates like aspirin, foods with lots of spice or tartness have a...
  22. so enzymes that dissolve it would just make it worse, you'd be better off if it got caught in some potato starch and made it to the other end
  23. celiac and/or crones. don't eat the cannabis just smoke it. I had a similar run in with cannabis a few years back where i ended up blaming it for my entire psychological state. turns out 1: i was getting gaslighted by multiple people who were aware i had been smoking pot 2: I was smoking way too much because i was forgetting i took a dose cannabis...
