i went through a few 1.5kg tubs of greek yogurt since diagnoses. was a little worried about lactose intolerance but I think yogurt is low lactose anyways
Crohn's Disease could also cause your symptoms and is equally difficult to diagnose. In broad strokes if it's Crohn's, fatty foods will give you problems. Do you have problems with meat, legumes, and nuts?
crush an aspirin and mix it with honey, leave it on the area for 15 minutes then rinse it off. the enzymes in honey are pretty good at accelerating healing and aspirin is anti-inflammatory as well as being a great PH for your skin
I'm not so sure it is the brain. The gut is capable of sending signals to other parts of the body just like the brain. i mean if you think about it the food-center is the core of every living thing on earth is it not? not everything has a brain but everything has a stomach or something like a stomach
i remember vividly that "zero to hero" song from the disney hercules move was just playing really loud in my head for NO reason, and i had diarrhea, it was uncomfortable, i was still very sleepy. haven't watched that movie since.
come to think of it, it's exactly like back to the future when marty puts the headphones on george while he's sleeping except...
only gluten can cause the auto-immune celiac response? that's good to know. i might be a lucky one, i knew i was allergic to sesame seeds before diagnoses
the greasy yellow stool is called steatorrhea and that's when your intestines aren't absorbing the fats from your food FYI. That's the number one way parents catch it in their babies
I had this happen pre-diagnoses. I would also wake up needing to take a runny poop and the audio in my dreams kept going in this hypnotic way. Can't believe I thought that was normal
Do you know about cross-reactivity? The likely foods that mimic gluten are dairy, yeast, oats, corn, instant coffee, and rice. in that order I think. i heard soy too but I'm not sure. try finding an egg white protein for your training, thats what I used pre-diagnoses and it never gave me stomach problems at all
I was diagnosed with celiac disease late november via blood test. I had anemia and malnutrition symptoms intermittently lately and I guess I've been having diarrhea my whole life. I cut gluten and started to meticulously read ingredients. I haven't had diarrhea but my stools have been green and black and huge and tiny and I don't know wtf is going on. I think...
