It says its made in a facility with wheat. Can't it just be washed off if they are unroasted or is it more complicated than that? I am thinking about buying some tech that can test down to 10ppm. So maybe I will just test some nuts for myself. Anybody ever think they can just wash off the cashews before eating them and are fine? I just got...

Cocoa Powder
zenith12 replied to LilyR's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Hey RMJ, thanks. Did you know you can buy those Ez gluten kits that test down to 10PPM. If i do get brave and try cocoa, the Hershys or majestic G, I will test it first for sure. I also wanna try the Valhrona cocoa powder. Well first i need to see if i became allergic to cocoa or milk. Once i find that out then i will buy the kit and some cocoa... -
Did you realize millions of food allergies go hand in hand with celiacs? Gluten is the least of their worries. I am alergic to almost all foods, except the ones I am eating that I know that i am not. I have never felt better in my life after learning most celiacs become allergic to all grains PLUS milions of other foods. I have become allergic to citris...

zenith12 replied to LilyR's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
What about majestic Guaradelli cocoa powder? I bought enjoylife chips and they are allergy free but I still have to make sure there are no chemicals in them. But I can normally smell and taste them. IF i smell something I won't eat it. Since i a became allergic to so many foods plus all chemicals i am afraid to try any cocoa powder. Supposedly I am not alergic... -

zenith12 replied to zenith12's topic in Super Sensitive People
Thanks. I am doing pretty good now except perfumes and fragrance smells .I been wearing a full on respirator at work and to the store etc etc. So NOW my symptoms are less .The filters don't last long which is sad since they are only picking up on ambient smells. My food allergy test came up me alergic to turkey but not chicken in August. WELL now i am alergic... -
I was diagnosed with celiacs in 2017. Then in 2020 when I took my food allergy test since I knew I was alergic to corn and rice, when the lab tech slathered rubbing alcohol on my skin then pricked my skin I had a horrible reaction which took me over a month to get over it. Rubbing alcohol is a CORN and RYE derrivitive. Anyway it triggered my MCS. Anybody...

That is real smart. lol Well I think my pituitary gland issue is autoimmune and I do have psoriasis. What do you think you have? I could have others too , who knows. You mean get tested for like lupus or hashimotos? I guess there are blood tests for that. If u have celiacs you may become alergic to corn and rice and ALL grains. I don't know if I am...

THEIR PRODUCTS are gross. The Freshetta cheese pizza was great. But as you know most celiacs can't tolerate rice or corn so all that food is out for me now. I have allergies to both now and i am celiac.

Regular docs labs are kinda worthless as i been slightly borderline anemic all my life but when ever i got blood tests from normal docs, it said in range and not anemic. When i was 27, a clinical research doctor at Quintiles, said MY red blood cell counts are low. So duh she figure it out and so did the N D doc by looking at my tongue in 2017. Now I...

My results are in and I am allergic to : Corn, Rice, wheat of course, Beans mix. (wow i thought i just had an intolerance). I am not surprised i have an actual allergy since i crapped 11 times after eating pinto beans. My body senses them as TOXINS. CITRUS, Broccoli, Shellfish, TURKEY, Peach, Peanuts and Peppers. Just know no test is perfect...

Chiropractors are quacks no doubt. NO this other info was coming from a medical doctor about the 7 things for celiacs cross reaction. No remember when i ate the TSO general chicken , it had nothing but rice and corn flour in it and I crapped 11 times. I bloated first. I will soon find out . I know its rice for sure and i think corn. But I think I can handle...

NO MY wired brain is from GLUTEN LIKE REACTION TO RICE AND CORN . Well now i am hoping I don't have a problem with corn, it may just be RICE. I went to the allergist and chickend out since i don't want things I am allergic to injected into me so she told me to go get my blood test (igE) from my primary care doc. So i will have her give me my vitamin blood...

NO cross reactivity to rice and corn is VERY REAL. You are wrong!! NOW i feel so much better now that the rice is out of my system. Please get informed and do your research. Look up the symptoms. Shakiness and nervousness is how my body reacts. Sneezing is one of them too which i was doing. It feels like getting glutened by wheat except much milder. But...

zenith12 replied to TGK112's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I called JO and Johnson. They said my floss was gluten free. Waxed/ Reach/ unflavored. SO at least now i know my symptoms aren't ciming from that. Time will tell. I just gave up the processed brownies 3 days ago. I am starting to feel good now. Still very dizzy. -

SO the company is lying??? No. None of the ingredients in Oral-B/Glide floss contain gluten. All of our flosses are made on designated lines so there is no chance of cross contamination with gluten. Thanks again! Paul Oral-B Team -
Kraft caramel bits
zenith12 replied to rocco327's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Nothing is. Whole foods that is about it. And THAT is the truth. Kraft or any other main stream company you can't trust. And even if it said certified gluten-free you still can't trust it. It would most likely have 10ppm of gluten in it. -
Hello! I wondered about that too. I heard it could have gluten in it. I just wash my mouth out real good. Does that help? Hopefully baking soda is gluten free. I try not to swallow any if it in case it is contaminated. I use that for tooth paste. Let me go see the floss i am using. Well with me i am pretty sure it is the trace amounts in the Aldis brownies...
