Bovine Colostrum
Charliexxx posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hi Lovely People Has anybody tried and tested colostrum. I have Coeliac Disease and a very bad case of Small intestinal bacteria Archea overgrowth. For once in awhile I would really like to not be in pain, bloated, rushing to toilet and properly enjoy a meal. Happy New Year, you awesome people. 🤪 -

Restaurant Server Says: Don't Be "Straw Psychos" or "Gluten Goobers"
Charliexxx commented on Jefferson Adams's article in Additional Concerns
Apparently, he was taught by Harry Potter to take a couple of blood samples, centrifuge them, analyse them. Then cannulate, give anaesthetic, perform gastroscopy, take at least 6 biopsies and analyse those. All in a blink of an eye. I need to meet this guy. He sure is special. 🤪- 4 comments

Celiac Disease and Mental Health: Unraveling the Gut-Brain Connection
Charliexxx commented on Scott Adams's article in Autumn 2023 Issue
Hi Elaine, I do not put things down to ‘psychosomatic’. I am a qualified health professional. Inflammation of the gut, inflammation to the brain. The Gut-Brain Axis consists of 8 systems, several of the types of Nervous system. From malabsorption, deficiencies occur and if a person understand some biochemistry and what happens in our 300 trillion cel...- 3 comments

Thank you Jeff for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, there are people on the internet who spend an hour completing a quiz to find out what sort of potato they are. Whilst some us actually study Biochemistry, read scientific literature and attend medical lectures. Andrew Lopez maybe a Remarka potato. I could cook mash him, roast him and then...- 4 comments

Oh Cissy, It has had major impacts on studying, careers, sporting abilities, relationships, financial, fertility, dental problems and just trying to be heard was extremely difficult. I was a quiet introverted girl when my grandmother took me to a doctor aged 21. They thought I had an eating disorder, so once that label was put on me my symptoms were...

I am so very sorry to read. You know you are and it is a daily toll on the body and mind. It impacts every aspect of your life from your daily living activities such as having the energy to wash, dress, make a hot drink for yourself, driving, getting actually to work, relationships as well and trying to follow a tv programme. I am sorry to read of your...

Has Anyone Had Low Vitamin B12 ?
Charliexxx replied to Charliexxx's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Fab thank you. Yes, it’s all there. If a person looks properly at the Kreb’s cycle (Tricyclic Acid cycle), a person can see where the co-factors come in. It’s like a beautiful complex mathematical algorithm or even better an orchestra. Every single instrument knows how loud or soft, how quick or fast, how brief or long they need to play. knowledge is po... -

Thanks knittykitty, I hope you are well. I have bookmarked the articles for my dissertation. Hence my reason for asking the question. Information gathering is also part of research too 😉 -

Charliexxx replied to Charliexxx's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Hi Nick, I am sorry to read how this impacts your life. The falling asleep is not good. I have P.A/B12 deficiency and I have injections. I am U.K. based and on several other websites. I am a qualified health professional but haven’t been able to work for years due to my own health. Anyway, I take a keen interest in this so in 20 minutes BST will b... -

Thanks ever so much for your reply. I had read your adult story but unaware that you were symptomatic as a child. I had eczema as a child. I was affectionately known as ‘Hollow legs’ as I could eat and eat. When I stayed with my grandparents, I would look at my grandmother with big eyes and she’d know I’d want biscuits. She’d tease me and say it was ‘cupb...
