  1. I can’t, can’t believe I did it again. Was referred for a gastroenterologist appointment due to progressing digestive trouble. Took the first available (why did he have opening first?) and waited almost 2 weeks. One of the worst initial consults. Felt so “litttle” and “less than”. Same as last time I tried an appointment with a gastroenterologist and thought, common denominator was me. Finally thought to check doctor review. Guy rated 1.3, bad, on reviews. I’m so easily intimidated when I try to talk about my Celiac. And it’s been over a decade since I found out. At least he ordered a CAT scan although I don’t know what to expect from it. Just like a day without a stomachache. The jerk asked me at least three times “What difference would it make if you had Celiac? You’d just still be on your gluten-free program”. I’m working on knowing it’s not me and I am not my disease.

  3. Absolutely not! I am very frustrated between accommodating both. Last night I just ate a box of gluten-free crackers. My blood levels are always on the low side and I’m always hungry. My sister got diagnosed diabetic 2 weeks after me and was assigned a class and a diatition. I’m on my own. My 2nd test after 3 months of Metformin showed I’d dropped to pre-d...
  4. Does anyone else have both Type 2 Diabetes and Celiac? I’m looking for a support group type thing.
