  1. Supplementation with iodine is a very bad idea if you have thyroid antibodies. (I don't remember, did you say you were deficient?) Please join the facebook group I mentioned, they have a lot of educational material. You can read more about iodine here: https://thyroidpharmacist.com/articles/iodine-hashimotos/ Thyroid antibodies don't change quickly ...
  2. I'd recommend you check out the facebook group for Hashimoto's (https://www.facebook.com/groups/hashimotos411). They have a ton of resources and guides, and you can search through other people's questions. Since your TPO is above normal range you have Hashi's but it may not be active at this point in time (or it is active but not enough tissue has been destroyed...
  3. Hi Lauren, Did you end up taking it and did you get glutened? Thanks
  4. I use PlusCBD Oil, they claim to be gluten free. https://www.pluscbdoil.com/faq.html

  6. Thank you for the support and for this wonderful website/forum ❤️

  8. Update: The diagnosis was indeed celiac disease. (I also specifically asked whether he had considered distinguishing between celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity.)
  9. Thanks, yeah, I was just fishing for some more information with respect to the two options given my blood/endoscopy results. The doc had recommended I go on a gluten-free diet till our next appointment. I did. On day 7 when I woke up the symptoms were suddenly just gone, for the first time (my biggest symptoms have been fatigue and tingling/heaviness...
  10. Yeah, I have a follow up in two weeks, I'll let you know what the "official" position is.
  11. Hi folks, I managed to get an endoscopy (!) in these hard times after some setbacks due to the covid situation. I'm struggling to understand my results. Is there any way to tell if this is "early celiac" or "non-celiac gluten sensitivity"? (I'm ~30 and I got some sort of virus a year ago and was really sick with diarrhea and gastritis, I suspect that...
