I feel for you, as my reaction to even a little cross contamination is an attack that acts like the worst stomach virus ever---sweats, chills, severe vomiting and diarrhea that lasts anywhere from an hour to several hours.   2. It's comforting to know that others have this same reaction to gluten. I always read about the typical reactions, but, like others here, my reaction is severe vomiting and diahrrea that comes on very suddenly and lasts sometimes for several hours. I tell others that it's like the worst stomach bug they can imagine. I am always left depleted and exhausted...
  3. Ah, then I'm not alone in my reaction. Much more severe than the typical celiac, from what I've researched, and harder to handle once it hits. Wish there was something that helped, because it's debilitating when it occurs.
  4. Trents, is there anything you've found that helps with the violent emesis and diahrrea? I have the same severe reaction, within an hour usually after being glutened. Some attacks have lasted for hours, causing dehydration and weakness. Thankfully, it rarely happens, as I am very careful, but when it does....horrible.
