  1. Hi yeah I've been gluten free for about a month now since testing positive for celiac.........I felt amazing even after one day of being gluten free.........and although the most obvious of my symptoms have disappeared........a symptom that I never had.......has appeared since going gluten free - BRAIN FOG...... in the last 10 days I've been doing things...
  2. levels ? thanks for that oh yeah I like the coffee too (the strong stuff) my mother only let me drink tea I started when I left home but I limit it to two cups everyday........anymore and I become a nervous wreak, jumping at sudden sounds, irritable and bad tempered .........but surprisingly this isn't a symptom of celiac ; )
  3. I am a female but I'm a bit too young to be going through menopause, I've stopped eating gluten for about three weeks now, I started after the biopsy which was positive for celiac and all its symptoms have are almost gone now..........the exact same thing happened about 7 years ago before I got a positive result on a celiac antibody test, but at that time...
  4. Thanks Posterboy, I read those articles from your links, they've really enlightened me to the importance of not overlooking symptoms because they appear intially quite benign this complacency in me has turned a small rash into something quite different that I need to tell the doctor about as well as discuss the potential things she could give to treat.l it...
  5. Thanks Knitty Kitty, I never thought a pre and pro-biotic could be feeding the fungus, ridiculous in hindsight because it's getting worse with those pre and pro-biotics as opposed to at worse staying the same or getting better with a gluten free diet...........I'm definitely going to ask/tell the doctor to look at giving me a script for supplements. I know...
  6. Thanks Scott, That's gold I didn't even consider that it could be unrelated to Celiac let alone seeing a dermatologist..........I'm going to get a referral for the dermatologist ASAP
  7. Hi, I've just recently had my celiac biopsy.........I've been not eating Gluten ever since (only two weeks) all of my symptoms are already disappearing fast (none of which were GI) the chronic insomnia, gone, the edema, gone, decaying teeth, gone, ha no actually they've just stopped decaying, hive like rash, gone, the diet resistant obesity going (lost 2...
  8. thanks for that I've just had the biopsy about two weeks ago, I haven't had any gluten since, there was an immediate and marked difference with the insomnia, I haven't had any trouble sleeping since (I've thrown away that Zoplicone, although not even they worked in the end)..........more or less everything seems to be coming right the edema, diet resistant...
  9. I've read countless times of undiagnosed Celiacs losing weight or being unable to gain and retain weight. In my own case however in the year leading up to my own genetic test, (highest possible markers for celiac disease) I had many symptoms such as a persistent fungal infections, rotting teeth, rashes and edema and although I have to continue to eat gluten...
  10. Yeah I've had this exact type of pain, just as you describe stitch like, under the bust or as you more accurately describe under the ribcage, it moves around (mine went around to the lower back as well eventually, I also had also a minor change in bowel movements and the pain got worse and worse) when it became excruciating the doctor sent me for an ultrasound...
  11. Thanks Scott that's really helpful, another doctor gave me the immunological (or something) blood test 7 years ago after I in passing was saying that I happened to had not eaten bread that week and had felt incredible, that test was positive for celiac, and she put me on the wait list for the biopsy the thing was, a nurse rang me while I was waiting the ...
  12. Hi after seeing many symptoms, the doctor did a genetic blood test and found I had the highest possible genetic marker for Celiac Disease, she said "do you want to go gluten free now?" or do you want to see the Gastroenterologist for a biopsy I said I'd wait for biopsy (without which I wouldn't get the govt subsidy for bread and such like)............ the...
