  1. I have been using their toothpaste and some of their other products that are labeled gluten free. Sorry about that. It is so frustratingly hard to get clear answers from companies on gluten content.
  2. I have recently switched a lot of my personal beauty items to Burt's Bees. I believe their products are gluten free, including lip balms.
  3. I was in love with BFree Baguettes but recently I found Against the Grain Rosemary Baguettes at my local Natural Grocers. I was not sure at first. At this store, it was in the frozen section. Once I got it home and opened, the bread texture looked a little weird. Then I tasted it...Unbelievable! I used to love real sourdough in the old wheat days, and I have...
  4. Pacifica is a great gluten-free company. They offer body balms, lotions, and perfumes all gluten-free and cruelty free.
  5. Gluten is also in a lot of beauty and personal hygiene products. It is everywhere. I have just started trying to use gluten-free hair and beauty products. Toothpaste is also a big one. There are several brands that are gluten-free, including Burt's Bees. I also find that some gluten-free products don't agree with me. Like gluten-free Oreos. Not sure why....
  6. We tried gluten-free Barilla this week. The pasta was good. Tastes very, very, close to real wheat pasta. It does breakdown a bit once cooked, but overall we liked it. However, we ate it twice and both times had stomach aches and bathroom issues a few hours later. I am gluten-free, my husband is not. We are looking for a good gluten-free pasta. He's Italian...
  7. I forgot - the baguettes are fantastic! They are skinny but I use them as a baguette but I also slice and bake them as a crostini. Friends have no idea it’s gluten free.
  8. I love BFree. I can find it at my Walmart stores. I’m in Texas and here I can also find it at HEB. The oat loaf is so good. Sourdough is good too. I’m finding they have a longer shelf life, months. I typically buy several and freeze into portions so I can take out what I need. If you can order online I would definitely try that.
  9. Love Bob’s Red Milll 1 to 1 gluten-free flour. I never use gluten free recipes I just replace AP flour with this. I bake everything. I do find you have to let batter sit about 20 minutes to absorb. I also make all my soups or spice mixes from scratch and use this flour when needed, ie cream of chicken soup.
  10. I really like Canyon Bakehouse for the brioche rolls and burger buns. BFree has great baguettes and the sliced bread is great too. My favorite is the oat loaf. Both brands are available at Walmart.
