If you need to eat that much gluten to ensure a possitive blood test, how much do you have to eat to ensure a possitive biopsy?   9. Just had lunch at the Thai Legacy Restaurant on N. Parson Blvd, in Brandon Florida. The menue had several items marked as Gluten free. I had the Traditional Pad Thai, and my husband had the egg plant stir fry. Both were excellent, and reasonably priced. Plenty left to take home for another feeding. So far, no hint of G.I. drama!

  12. Jim, We too live in Centralish Florida, the Tampa Bay area. I have found that most liquor stores, especially the bigger ones, will order whatever beer you want, as long as you order a case. You are right, however, slim picking for off the shelf gluten free beer. Our local Publix and Winn Dixie don't carry any.

  18. I am sorry. I don't know what a Marsch score is. My first biopsy said I had severe duodenitis, and villi blunting "consistent with Celiac Sprue." My antibody blood test was over 2,000. 3 months later, the antibodies were about 1,200. A year later, they were normal.   22. One idea, which I occaisionally use to make a regular pie crust, is to use a gluten free bisquit mix, and make a small amount of dough, using an egg and a little milk. Put this on the pizza pan, and, using your hand, press it as thin as you can get it. Put your pizza toppings on and bake. With any gluten free pizza crust, the thinner the better!

  24. Love Red Bridge! I only found it once, in a fairly large liquor store in Florida, but I agree, a real beer! It is the only gluten free beer that I have liked better than Ommision Pale Ale.
