What a wonderful web site! What a resource for a newly diagnosed celiac. I am a 69 years old female, and a few months ago underwent an EGD to try and diagnose my silent GERD symptoms. A duodenal biopsy at that time revealed celiac sprue. I had never had any bad GI symptoms before in my life, just occasional bloating and gas which I did not worry about...
