  1. I guess I was more questioning the veracity of the Everlywell test, especially since it doesn't give actual numerical value results. I have been eating gluten fairly consistently since November at this point. Like I said, there may be days where my menu choices don't include gluten but that's just because of what I've chosen to eat and not to avoid gluten...
  2. Hello all. I posted a while back about having a "positive" indication on an Everlywell home Celiac screening test. I did get a referral to a gastroenterologist, who set me up for an endoscopy (which isn't scheduled until April because they are so booked) but did not order any new blood testing. I have continued eating gluten since then since they put...
  3. Hello. Newish here. I did the Everlywell home celiac screening test which came up positive for elevated tTG-IgA although it did not give a value. They gave me a referral for a gastroenterologist and I finally had my appointment today. I was a little surprised they didn't want to reorder blood work but the doc said elevated tTG-IgA is a positive indicator...
  4. I don't need the official diagnosis and my doctor already said to try gluten free and if I feel better, stick with it. I do have some other slightly off blood tests (high red blood cell count, etc.) that do make me wonder if they are all connected in some way. Thank you for taking the time to comment - appreciated!
  5. She does. I didn't realize they were going to run the Celiac test when the did the other blood work for my surgery - if I had know I would have told them not to bother with that one. Symptoms have improved being off gluten. I never had huge digestive issues - rather I have chronic fatigue and joint pain, random itching of my left arm with no rash. I...
  6. I had posted back in April with the following blood test results through imaware.com that were sort of mixed and confusing. This testing was done while I was on a gluten-containing diet. I did follow up with my PCP and she ordered a Celiac panel. However, I was set to ditch gluten (as part of eliminating ultra-processed foods) for the weight...
  7. the test was a self requested one, but I have shared the results with my primary and am waiting to hear back from them.
  8. I've attached the results I got from my Celiac panel - and it's safe to say I'm confused. LOL. Two negative results, two positive ones. The lab basically said I was low risk for Celiac, so how does that work with 2 positive results? Symptoms: fatigue, chronic joint pain, chronic itching of scalp and just one arm/hand without any rash/redness. Have tested...
