Yes his thyroid has been checked. He has also been investigated for possible malignancies that are uncommon as well as a huge list of other things. Also, I have extreme/epi pen allergies to most fruits and veggies (but confirmed I do not have celiac via endoscopy) so going gluten free will be extremely challenging for our house.
