  1. Trent, is there a discussion already started about how to use this site, specifically the forums?  I am finding it really confusing.  Sorry, I'm a newbie to online forums. Thanks in advance for any help.

It's ok if you don't address each of my puzzlements.  It's getting late and I need to go to sleep now anyway.

Sorry I can't help with those questions. The features you have mentioned are not ones I have used. Glad you found something that answers some of your questions. Don't be afraid to experiment. Digital learning is very hands on. Try this. Try that. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. It's the best way to learn. Scott Adams can likely answer your questions. Shoot him a PM.

      Hi BB,

Recent Profile visitors is disabled/doesn't work right now.  This page I am typing  on is your forum member profile.

In the edit post box box there are font selection and highlighting options at the top for text.  You select a portion of text and apply the option.

You can only edit your forum replies for I think 24 hours or so.

There is also an infinity symbol that allows you to hyperlink a section of text.

  2. I posted for my first time in the DH section. I forgot to mention that I've been having sores inside my mouth also. They're round, white and not painful. Just a little annoying because they kind of get in the way and I find I bite the inside of my cheeks more when the sores are present. Does anyone else have this problem? How do you treat the sores?...
  3. NEVER! ABSOLUTELY NO! I say that now, but when I'm feeling really well, I'll probably forget how bad it's been and cheat. Woe is me! Why are we humans so stupid when it comes to our health?
  4. Hi JenniK. I have had recurring shingles so many times I've lost track. The first case was over 20 years ago. I've had doctors tell me it's impossible to have shingles more than once-- ignorant! Yes, shingles is very painful. The rash I had on multiple areas of my body bilaterally recently wasn't shingles, that's for sure. But it was very painful. ...
  5. Well, I have an appointment for tomorrow with my PCP. Here's the rub: Since I first started reading about celiac disease here and elsewhere on the web, I have cut most gluten out of my diet. My bowel movements have returned to normal, no abdominal cramping or distension, and the rash is clearing. I ingested very small amounts of gluten-containing foods...
  6. Much thanks to both of you, Trents and Scott. I will be sure to follow up.
  7. I should add that I have had GI issues for a very long time (45 years or more), including chronic diarrhea, bloating, frequent gass, etc. Also have depression and anxiety for which I'm taking 300 mg buproprion HCL. I take loratidine daily for environmental allergies.
  8. Hi everyone. Brand new here and first post. First of all, thank you Scott and moderators for all the work you do. About 10 days I "broke out" on my chin, which I thought was strange but blamed mask wearing for what I thought were pimples. Then, it spread under my chin and down the front of my neck on the right side. It had the severe burning itchiness...
