  1. But Scott I don’t want to die of Cancer i have seen people die of that, I know we have to die of something but I want to live a long healthy life and I will try and do what I can to achieve that and if watching my histamine levels is working for me then that’s all well and good 😀 like I said before in my other posts we have to look at things at all angles...
  2. When our bodies are not having the foods/ drinks that are making our bodies release this extra histamine it begins to work again letting our villi heal and absorb the nutrients again that’s what’s made me well. Our bodies won’t absorb these valuable nutrients while our villi is malfunctioning.
  3. I’m really saying that when we do begin to have problems maybe we ought to look at this first, it may help us by avoiding these things that contain higher histamine until we find a level that our bodies can cope with, then maybe we can get away with some things again that contain higher amounts in time, but I certainly can’t unless I have symptoms, wine wit...
  4. 1 in 2 of us are getting cancers, and we are also getting more allergies/ illnesses weight gain which then leads to other problems, I do believe preservatives made with molds and bacteria, and I believe making our bodies acidic is not good for us, and back then in Julius’s time they didn’t have all the processed foods, so maybe they could get away with a f...
  5. I appreciate your answer, but do you still consume Dairy and that includes Lactose in medication, alcohol and preservatives, Because I believe that also causes immune problems which will raise histamine levels putting our bodies in high alert, so both would have to be avoided to get our levels down and our immune to settle down and our bodies to heal ,...
  6. Could it be because Dairy/ Gluten is added to almost everything we eat or drink to extend shelf life/ or as a filler in our foods/ drinks medications and our bodies are just saying no more, it’s not our faults as so many of us are unaware of what we are ingesting and it’s not what our bodies are naturally meant to digest, just because we want these things and...
  7. They could contain lactose and if Dairy is your problem that could be adding to your levels, maybe start a food/ drink Diary and maybe avoid Gluten and Dairy and maybe you will feel better, there are a lot of alternatives around now, or you could try avoiding one at a time but for quick results you may might have to avoid both for the time being and gradually...
  8. Hello Sabaarya With me my problem was with Dairy, I know I am on A Celiac Forum, but it may be something that you haven’t considered or doubted, my story is in this site if you want to read it, as I am finding out more about things todo with health I believe too much histamine in our bodies maybe causing a lot of problems, I can’t have Dairy as it ...
  9. I will look him up and see what he has done. Thankyou Russell
  10. I totally agree Trents, I think we will soon find that through making changes to our diet, shifting from a diet that contains a lot of acidic things and that very much includes drinks Milk, Tea, Coffee, Alcohol, (a lot of peoples favourite things sadly, it all adds to accumulation in the body, occasionally is probably ok) to a more alkaline way of eating...
  11. Hello iibritney If I was a Dr. and you came to me, the first thing I would want to know what is your diet and that includes drinks. I would then say to write a food Diary which includes drinks, and then write down when you get reactions. And then I would start questioning Dairy, Gluten or are your Histamine levels too high, the first thing I would...
  12. Thankyou Wheatwacked Thats very interesting, maybe the feeding methods of conventional cows milk need some adjustments to get the omega 3/6 ratio right which may help us to digest it better. Because life without Dairy feels like your missing out on so many things. I don’t know if my body will ever let me be able to go back to it, i believe it was m...
  13. I would actually like to know the histamine levels in cows milk compared to the histamine levels in human milk before I make any judgement of how low it actually is, as cows milk is intended for a calf that grows into a big beast, surely that’s going to be a lot more than human milk histamine, i would actually like to know comparisons, also when our bodies b...
  14. Thank you knitty kitty well that’s what I have done to get well, and I am so glad I did, but I could of been well years ago if the Drs. told me about all this, I hope they are being trained more in this area the surgeries wouldn’t be so full all the time. Thank you also for your reply and info.
  15. Hello Liz I became so hungry on my meds I just wanted to eat all the time it was truly horrible, I gained weight very quickly, I came off them, as it was only precautionary that I was on them, and the hunger subsided thank goodness, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come off meds though , i didn’t know I was Lactose intolerant at that time and the tab...
  16. Is it I wonder that when our bodies have too much histamine it reacts in various ways because the extra histamine is attaching or going into our cells that contain our natural histamine (which protect us) and possibly leaking into our bloodstream (in some cases) making our bodies acidic, my body became acidic, I believe that’s one of the reasons why I w...
  17. Hello Always learning I was just re- reading your post and it dawned on me what if the extra histamine in our bodies from milk/ food /drinks /Medication with milk starter cultures (Lactose) in is making the thyroid over react, then surely we should all be warned about the effects of ingesting too much histamine from foods/ drinks meds, that we think...
  18. I wonder why too much histamine in the body Is not talked about more, why are some Drs. not suggesting this, especially when it could be the answer to many peoples health problems ??? I could have been well years ago.
  19. I believe it’s the Histamine from milk and starter cultures from milk that is used in so much of what we eat and drink today is possibly causing some problems with some of our health issues, once our levels build up in our bodies that’s when our symptoms start. The histamine in cows milk is meant for a calf really, the histamine from our mothers milk is ...
  20. There is Lactose in so many things, that a lot of people do not realise they are ingesting, so they are thinking they are not having any milk product when actually they are, so when everything is labelled correctly people will truly know what there intolerances are, I kept getting symptoms because I was having things with Lactic acid in and it wasn’t on t...
  21. Hi Trents I don’t know which part of milk histamine is made from, alcohol has histamine it also has lactic acid starter cultures so you see it’s both in there, so it’s hard for a lot of people to distinguish which one maybe they both react with the body and cause problems.
  22. I believe my body didn’t like the histamine/ lactose from a different source, hence accumulation in my body, hence making me sensitive to other foods with higher histamines in. I was becoming sensitive to most things, now I can have some of them again, I have reactions if I have had something with milk or lactic acid in, my body does not like it, I w...
  23. Thank you for your comment AlwaysLearning, basically your saying what I think about the body over producing histamine and all the problems that come with that, whenever I went to the Dr. never once did he mention about my histamine levels or my diet, they just wanted to prescribe, I had to find my cure myself. Thank you for your comment.
