  1. Hello Fooze i think you have milk intolerance, try avoiding all Dairy for a month and see how you get on, there are many alternatives to try, they use Lactose from Dairy in a lot of medications so be aware of that, Lactose and Dairy products are used in so many products that is not listed on the labels so we are not realising what is causing the problems...
  2. Hello Brian There is a book written by Barbara Williams it’s called the Alkaline Diet, it’s not a very big book you could probably read it in an evening or two, it’s how we should be eating to stay well and more energised, I got mine from Amazon i think it says it all, I feel so much better eating like this. I fully recommend it.
  3. Cheddar has less Lactose, you may be ok with that it just depends how sensitive you are to Lactose, I am extremely sensitive to it, I was ok with cheese up until recently I am now 52 so I sadly have to skip Dairy to be well ( believe me I do miss it) I just have alternatives. I think we just get a build up of acids and our bodies can’t cope with it and s...
  4. Hello Walter i have had some of your symptoms and with me it wasn’t Gluten intolerance it was Lactose intolerance, maybe try avoiding milk and dairy, there are many alternatives, I like the oat drink myself, it will take a while but I am sure you will begin to feel better, I do. Good luck
  5. It could be that your milk intolerant, there are alternative drinks to replace it with, i personally believe milk intolerance is where it all starts, making us vulnerable to other intolerances.
  6. Aspirin, Avorstatin, Ramilpril and Bisoprolol all contain Lactose, they made me feel unwell and really hungry I just wanted to eat so much it was horrible, at the time I didn’t know I was Lactose intolerant it’s only recently that I have found out a lot medicines contain Lactose, hence feeling unwell. They made me very acidic too.
  7. Hello Brian I found when I went on medication it made me so hungry I gained well over 2 stone in a matter of 2 months all I wanted to do was eat, now I have my own theory as to why this happened to me, I didn’t realise at the time and have now found out after all these years that I was milk/ lactose intolerant and my body can not break down lactose, ...
  8. I absolutely 100% agree, I believe sadly, that lactose/casein could be the underlying cause of these gluten intolerances. But I know how to get myself better by avoiding milk, such a shame as I have always loved dairy but it doesn’t love me. It took me years to work this out because we’re always told how good it is for us so I never thought it possibly cou...
  9. What an ordeal you have been through, it’s not nice to go through and we just wonder what could be causing all these symptoms, I have been through various symptoms throughout my life life too, In my case it was Dairy, I have cut it out and all my symptoms have gone, sometimes if I have had something with Dairy in I will know, so maybe try it and see how y...
  10. Thank you for your response, I just stay away from milk altogether now, I have just started to take vitamin B6 and B12 and when my stomach lining heals who knows I may be able to tolerate some Dairy again I don’t know, maybe, and i’m not sure of this but have a little hunch that these allergies we are all getting are caused by a damaged stomach lining and...

  12. Very interesting, I have had a Scad heart attack at 50 also fatty liver, inflammation ( the inflammation started after I had been on the medication so I came off all meds) I also had rotary cuff symptoms, Fibromyalgia pain, and other symptoms, maybe I should try some vitamin B5, I eat really well, I just can’t have milk anymore as it makes my symptoms worse. ...
  13. I have just bought my first Dairy free ice cream, it was actually very nice. I have had my blood and all seems ok, the previous blood test said I had high alkaline phosphatase whatever that means, so they retested a month later and the next one was fine apparently. Thank you for your comments.
  14. I’m glad your feeling a bit better, it may take a good few months or more for everything to recover. I’m hoping one day I may be able to return to a small amount of Dairy fingers crossed.
  15. Thankyou for your comment, yes I do believe I have leaky gut, I find that coming off Dairy for me is helping me with my symptoms improving so much, sometimes I weaken and have something that I fancy with Dairy in and I soon know with my reactions to it.

  18. I didn’t mean to, I don’t know how that happened. I will try and avoid Gluten and see what happens. Thank you
  19. So do you think if I try a gluten free diet I will be able to tolerate dairy again ? I have never tried a gluten free diet ?
  20. I’m pretty sure it’s Lactose, how could I find out for sure, is there a test for Casein intolerance ?
  21. It’s just so horrible to become intolerant to things, you have to look at labels all the time, do you think you could be Dairy intolerant or lactose intolerant as we get older this happens to so many of us unfortunately, our enzyme that breaks down Lactose no longer works causing all sorts of symptoms. Just a thought. I hope you get sorted.
