  1. It's been a while but thanks everyone for your answers ! They're interesting (and yes, I'm pushing this topic up again because who knows, maybe we have some more tortured artists around who feel like outcasts) ; ) You're not alone ! I'd be interested to read more answers !
  2. Before anything, I would suggest that some of you get tested for histamine intolerance too (if you can, keep notes of what you eat) it can be a digestive problem tied to celiac and even non-celiac. Sometimes. And chocolate will definitely trigger something to people that are sensitive to histamine. Neurological, digestive and it also affects the blood...
  3. This is the confusing part, I didn't scored anything on allergy tests. However, given how certain foods give me rhinitis, tachycardia and all the likes, I can tell I have histamine intolerance. Maybe this is what I mistaken for a gluten intolerance actually, but I have a feeling it's both anyway. I've also been wondering about multiple sclerosis symptoms...
  4. I see... Thiamine again... Could corn prolamins actually worsen that symptom in particular ? I can't think of other foods that seems to trigger this. Histamine from avocados caused something different, more like a shortness of breath, tachycardia but there wasn't the problem with my throat that "disalign" or jam itself. But I assume it's a matter...
  5. Thank you for your answer ! I've had allergy tests done (bloodtests) and nothing special about corn showed up. But I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining the symtoms : it's so systematic after corn that it's very puzzling. And scary too... I mean, I kind of wish I wouldn't have to move my throat manually when this happens but this is what I have to do most...
  6. Hello everyone ! I've been wondering a lot what exactly is happening with this symptom in particular because I always thought it was really bizarre ! I can't remember very well if gluten used to cause a similar effect (it was more a general thightness in the throat, and I remember nights where I'd wake up scared and trying to gasp for air too) but I...
  7. I think this is a very good guess about the link between ataxia and arts ! There's resolutely something related to inhibitions too. And muscle memory. All of this remind me of the fact that a lot of people used to tell me I was very good when it comes to draw facial expressions. But I remember it would frustrate me sooo much to hear this ! Because this...
  8. I've also read about ataxia and I've been wondering too. Strangely, I remember having excellent visual memory while suffering from it, but also very poor movement coordination for everyday tasks, except maybe for dancing or artistic activities which were the things I could learn with more ease... since art didn't follow as much logic as other things in my...
  9. For some reason, the words "die in her sleep" just makes me shiver. Lord, this sounds like such a far dream when we are intolerant... And well, if only it was only the aflatoxins ! I have a very strong feeling that I personally developped an histamine intolerance and the memories of my last crisis still haunt me today (it was like... last month) and I woke...
  10. As an update, I tried to reintroduce tomatoes, again, just to make sure I wasn't having wrong intuitions last time... But as expected, I woke up several times from an uncomfortable tiggling sensation in my hands (it really felt like the bloodflow wasn't normal in these as I was sleeping, it was creepy...) And there was also my skin which looked...
  11. I'm famillar with the low FODMAP diet as it helped me a little during a painful crisis. However, I'm new to the AIP diet. I don't think I have an issue with beans, or maybe it's less painful than with nightshades, but I know for sure I resolutely have problems with tomatoes ! I even hated these as a kid actually... I was told this might be because...
  12. That makes sense ! At least, I can see the correlation here ! And I can agree with the anti-establishement sentiment too. I've often had a very similar feeling when talking to people with all sort of digestive issues too... And without much surprise, I usually get along very well with people who suffers from these things too. And it does show up in their...
  13. Unfortunately not for celiac. But this was mostly due to the fact that eating gluten would trigger rhinitis, sleep apnea, terrors, ataxia, migraines, panic attacks and affect my mood in awful ways. I really wanted to and have been considering it again since I took vitamins that seriously dimished all of these symptoms. The extreme relief I got is what...
  14. Hi everyone, As usual, I'm not completely done with my diet and haven't been able to come up with any kind of strategy to come to terms with my symptoms... So I would like to know if anyone who has encountered this triad of problems would have any advice. For the small history, I began the year with some issues due to some gluten free breads...
  15. That makes sense. Refined sugar in those resolutely damage the guts. The less refined forms are usually easier to digest...A lot of ingredients seems dubious too now that I look at the package...
  16. Hi everyone ! It's been a while that I wanted to post this topic because I'm very curious about the artistic practice or tastes of other intolerants... The idea came to me as I discovered migraine induced art. Which seems to have touched something very personal in me... (I think this is has something to do with the loneliness that these intolerances...
  17. I have a quick question, do you have issues with histamine ? Chocolate is an histamine liberator so it may trigger something if you're sensitive. This intolerance often coexist with gluten intolerance/celiac disease. I had a very bad case of violent histamine intolerance the other day and they can resolutely mimic gluten intolerance too.
  18. Don't worry, this is always interesting to read ! I just came back from an appointement with a dietitian and one of her guesses was that I may struggle with fats. So, what you mentionned make sense ! She didn't seems to know much about histamine though. However, I learned today that candidosis (to which we can be more prone too - and I wonder if I didn...
  19. It is ! And this is intruiging too... I remember that my first blood test with the possible implication of gluten intolerances had results that were fine when it comes to Calcium, Potassium. Except iron which was reaching bad levels (on periods of course) B9 were fine too, I was careful of eating different sorts of peas or beans...B12 however was under...
  20. I think I will resolutely do that. It annoys me but the UTI seems to be back since I took the vitamins again. In addition, I suspect that gluten stains in buckwheat crepes are causing extra problems too... I believed stains were fine because I was able to eat other cereals that were also damaging to me (corn) because of their prolamins and effects on...
  21. Thank you ! I think I'll consider changing the vitamins. I managed to get some vitamin D in a pharmacy, but to my surprise, they didn't have any vitamin B complex ! So this makes me wonder a few things because I remember reading that all the B12 aren't always assimilated the same way (or that we only absorb a portion of these) do you have more informations...
  22. Hi ravenwoodglass, don't be affraid to ask about symptoms, really, there are all sort of manifestations or consequences of this illness. Officially diagnosed or not ! I've been experiencing something similar tonight so you're definitely not alone. I personally feel ashamed as I had to call my country's emergencies only to be told this wasn't anything...
  23. Thank you for the references, I'll try to compare because the pharmacian I saw resolutely told me that they are certain things that can cause issues in the product (copper being one of them) and I wouldn't be surprised that I would react to other components... Oh and by the way, regarding the UTI and candidosis, well, I've also been forcing myself...
  24. And after the day is over, I notice it's just the intensity of the urges and how painful they are that diminished. I've heard this could be a "cleaning" syndrome of candida/urinary infections but I'm not sure. I've just stopped eating corn too as I noticed effects similar to gluten (which probably explain my recent deficiencies aswell) so... Perhaps...
  25. https://fr.arkopharma.com/products/azinc-vitalite-gelules These are the ones I take, the percentages are in "Composition" And I agree with you, regarding the fact I shouldn't believe people's opinions on that too much, but regarding the vitamins and urines, it's more something that I always heard and read about vitamins that the body do not need...
