  1. Hello. So my blood work looks ok. Iron and ferritin got improved,B12 is 685 and overall everything looks normal. I’m just having stool issues, kind of mushy and not bulking. What would you usually eat furring the flare ups of celiac?
  2. Injections were for my mom,but I had her administer it to me cause injections always work better. Back in my country while I was not having celiac I remember doctors prescribing vitamin C and B complex injections for other issues that I had. And my ferritin level was 6 and my doctor from Turkey was really surprised that my PCP didn’t order iron infusion f...
  3. That’s a lot of supplements. What if there is damage to villi again can I get healed?
  4. Hello. Well my diet is mainly carbs, and no vegetables or fruits, very rare. I think one of the reasons is that probably I’m not getting enough vitamins, but even with adding Bcomplex,B 12 shots and iron supplements I’m not getting the outcome that I should. I think it’s the villi damage again, stool is narrow for the past 3 weeks, heartburns, pain under right...
  5. Hi Jane:). I’m 41. No one around me is gluten-free and I did accept my diagnose. But it’s still make me stressed out every time when I go out. I haven't travel at all after my diagnose and it makes really sad. All my friends traveling around the world I can’t even think about it even though all hotels provide gluten-free food but I’m just scared.
  6. Maybe. I’m not sure if it’s flatten again. Even on my initial I was told that damage was so mild but of course I do understand that consuming gluten can cause relapse. Hopefully it’s just flare up and not relapse:)
  7. Hello, thank you:). That’s what I do usually,I’m very sensitive and do take my own food wherever I go. I did just cheat 2-3 times and it was couple of months ago. And last year on my endoscopy it was complete healing. Not quite sure if the gluten-free product that I buy is really gluten-free or not . But I was really good for the past 1 year ,I don’t know ...
  8. Hi everyone, haven’t posted for a while. I was diagnosed in August 2021 with mild damage to villi,Marsh 3A,and following gluten-free diet since then, had a repeat endoscopy in Dec 2022 and everything was healed,no signs of celiac disease base on the pathologist report. After that I ate some gluten containing food like 2-3 times in and out burger and was f...
  9. Hi. Even though the normal range for ferritin is 5-200,5 is very very low, that is the reason of constant fatigue and tingling situation. My ferritin level dropped after diagnose, before it used to be 50-60 and now it’s 6 and since my diet is not that rich in iron so I’m kind of struggling. But I’ve noticed improvement since taking iron supplements. My docto...
  10. Hi Emily. I had exactly the same situation as yours and I remember asking the same question here almost 2 years ago:). I had endoscopy and colonoscopy because of occult blood in my stool and very low ferritin and iron level in my blood. I was so scared and I had thoughts about colon cancer. Endoscopy results were mild chronic gastritis and partial atrophy...
  11. Hi Erica, welcome! I was also diagnosed in August 21 at the age of 39:). My symptoms were tingling in my hands, headaches, dizziness, ear buzzing, weakness, occasional diarrhea and constipation, iron deficiency, vitamin deficiencies and weight gain. After gluten-free diet I lost weight which was really good but still was experiencing symptoms. My damage was mild...
  12. And my doctor said that most probably it was false positive cause he couldn’t find anything, but it could be gastritis and even celiac
  13. Yes I had colonoscopy. They always make you have colonoscopy and endoscopy if there is occult blood, especially colonoscopy.
  14. Hi Scott. Have received my pathology today and I got healed:))). It states that Duodenum mucosa shows no pathologic abnormality,no blunting, no intraepithelial lymphocytes,no diagnostic evidence of celiac sprue seen. I’m happy:) Saba
  15. Just received my pathology report and it states that there is no evidence of celiac sprue,no blunting or atrophy and no intraepithelial lymphocytes . Yaaaaaayyyyy:))) So happy
  16. Hi:). Well I was told that my celiac is so mild and healing should be in 3-6 months. I don’t know. Anyways I’m worried. What about you? Have you had repeat endoscopy after initial diagnose?
  17. I’ll have my doctor to order those tests for me. After I got diagnosed I literally made my mom to have celiac panel test and she did it twice and every time her Gliadin IGA was positive, but other antibodies like andImmunoglobulin A Ab and tTG IgA were negative. I do tell her mom you have celiac and I probably got that from you but she refuses follow gluten-f...
  18. My antibody tests were negative, I got diagnosed with positive biopsy. But I was checked only for 2 antibodies which were TISSUE TRANSGLUTAMINASE AB, IGA and IMMUNOGLOBULIN A. I know there is more l but I was checked for those 2 and negative, I believe thats the classic antibodies for celiac but anyways they were negative…
  19. Interesting. My procedure was at Beverly Hills medical center I think they should have access to the newest equipments. I was also told when the damage is mild they won’t be able to differentiate whether it’s celiac or inflammation. I don’t know. Will see. Have you had repeat endoscopy after your initial diagnose?
