    Apparently almost 40% of population have celiac genes but only 1% develop the disease through their life. If you have disease there is 50% of chances that you will pass it to your children but still doesn’t mean that they develop disease through their life.     Overall I’m very sensitive to any kind of medication and I believe that they can cause delay in digestive healing,but as my doctor said I need to take my anxiety under control.     Thank you:). My antibodies all were in normal range at my diagnose. They confirmed my celiac disease with positive biopsy and genetic panel. In my situation I think the same as you. Since I remember myself I was always anxious and it probably triggered my celiac disease.

    Hi. It’s been a week since I’ve started Lexapro. It helped with my symptoms. My bowel movement got better,my anxiety level got better,but I developed mild pain under my right rib towards the end. I wonder if it could be gluten in Lexapro that causes that discomfort..
