  1. true, and very possible...it's just that all these things happened in the months leading up to diagnosis...had never happened prior and has not happened since I went gluten free
  2. Yes!! had it earlier this year (thought it was hives, lasted over 2 weeks) along with numerous other things (stye in my eye, athletes foot) that I had NEVER had before in my life. Explains a lot.
  3. My celiac blood test came back off the charts at 126!! Gastroenterologist said endoscopy wasn't even needed to confirm! I too was undiagnosed for 27 years (I never went to the doctor except when I was pregnant, and obviously gluten sensitivity isn't tested on a regular basis).
